Freddy Combo is a dual-engine pending-order Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. Two
independent placement engines run side by side from a single chart, and either
one can be switched off if you prefer to trade only the other.
ENGINE 1 - ZONE ENGINE
Six independent zones (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3), each with its own magic number,
lookback window and level parameters. Each zone identifies a confirmed swing
extreme on H1 and places a stop order at a level discounted inward from that
extreme. Position management uses percent-of-price logic rather than fixed point
distances, so behaviour stays consistent across a wide range of price levels:
break-even with offset, a percent trailing stop, a per-zone take profit set when
the trail arms, and a rescue exit for positions in deep adverse excursion.
Per-zone intraday activity windows control which server hours each zone is
allowed to arm, with separate winter and summer maps.
ENGINE 2 - STRUCTURE ENGINE
Five sub-strategies (ST1, ST2, ST4, ST6, ST8) built on two families of anchor:
Donchian extremes on M15, and confirmed daily pivot levels. Each sub-strategy has
its own placement schedule, entry offset, stop and target ratios, trailing clock
and order expiry. A registered level is used once; after a fill the engine can
place a further order at the nearest previously registered level that price has
not yet traded through. Lot size is never increased after a loss - this is not a
martingale or grid system.
FILTERS
- Spread gate: no new orders are armed when the spread is above your threshold.
- NFP filter: flattens positions and cancels pendings around the monthly release.
- High-impact news filter: optional calendar-driven block around scheduled events.
- Session hour maps: per-zone control of when orders may be armed.
- Weekend handling: configurable, positions may be held or closed.
ACCOUNT PROTECTION
Every order operation is checked against the account and symbol before it is sent:
- Pending order budget against the account's active order limit.
- Margin budget covering open positions plus every working pending as if filled,
with a configurable reserve so an order cannot be accepted and then fail when
it triggers.
- Aggregate one-direction volume limit.
- Broker stops level and freeze level, on both placement and modification.
- Trading session check, so nothing is sent during the daily break or weekend.
- Escalating backoff when the account is at capacity, instead of repeated retries.
Lot size is reduced automatically to fit the margin budget where possible, and the
order is skipped where it is not.
REQUIREMENTS
- MetaTrader 5, hedging account.
- Designed and parameterised for XAUUSD. It will run on other symbols, and all
distance logic is symbol-aware, but the default parameters are fitted to gold.
- Suggested minimum deposit 1,000 USD at 1:100 leverage for XAUUSD at minimum lot.
Higher leverage or a larger deposit allows more concurrent positions.
- Low-spread ECN account and a VPS with a stable connection are recommended.
- One chart only. Do not attach multiple copies to the same symbol.
INPUTS
All parameters are exposed and grouped by function: engine selection, zone
enable/disable, level engine, stops and trailing, rescue exit, sessions and
calendar, news filters, lot sizing, order budget, session gate, margin budget and
stop distance. Defaults are the tested configuration.
