How It Works

XAU Alloy combines multiple independent trading engines into a single EA, each running its own optimized logic on gold. Every engine identifies trend direction and momentum independently, then enters trades when conditions align. This multi-engine architecture means the EA does not rely on a single set of conditions — when one engine is waiting, another may be actively trading, providing natural diversification across different market states.

The EA also features a Retracement-based Additional Order System. When the market retraces against an initial position, the EA places additional entries at calculated price levels. All orders use the same fixed lot size with stop losses. This is not a martingale — each additional entry is designed to improve the average entry price within strict risk limits.

All engines operate independently with separate parameters and their own Magic Numbers, ensuring zero interference between them. This isolation means each engine trades as if it were running alone on the chart.

Recommended Settings

Symbol: XAUUSD (Gold vs US Dollar). Timeframe: M15 (15-minute chart). Minimum deposit: $2,000 for 0.01 lot (high risk) or $7,000 (recommended). Account type: Hedging. Leverage: 1:2000 recommended (backtest was performed at 1:2000; lower leverage may require smaller lot sizes). VPS recommended for uninterrupted 24/7 operation.

Deposit and Lot Size

All backtest results above are based on 0.01 lot with a $2,000 initial deposit. The maximum equity drawdown during the backtest was $7,176.64. This is the key number for choosing your deposit — your account must be able to survive this drawdown without margin call.

For 0.01 lot: $2,000 deposit means the $7,176 potential drawdown exceeds the deposit — high risk and only suitable for experienced traders who understand that this drawdown occurred when the account had grown significantly. $7,000 deposit gives enough room to absorb the maximum drawdown — recommended for most traders. $10,000 to $15,000 deposit provides a comfortable safety margin and is suitable for conservative, long-term trading.

The lot size and deposit scale linearly. Multiply both by the same factor. For example, 0.02 lot requires doubling the deposit ($4,000 high risk, $14,000 recommended, $20,000-$30,000 comfortable). For 0.05 lot, multiply by 5 ($10,000 high risk, $35,000 recommended, $50,000-$75,000 comfortable). For 0.1 lot, multiply by 10 ($20,000 high risk, $70,000 recommended, $100,000-$150,000 comfortable).
