H1 Container MTF Boxes on EURUSD M5

H1 container with nested M30, M15, M5 and M1 boxes on an EURUSD M5 chart.

H1 Container MTF Boxes is a visual MetaTrader 4 indicator for mapping the structure of one H1 candle across lower timeframes.

The indicator draws an H1 container box and optional nested boxes for M30, M15, M5 and M1 candles inside that hour. The H1 range can show 25%, 50% and 75% levels, while lower timeframe boxes use a single 50% line to keep the chart readable.

Main inputs:

  • AutoFollowCurrentH1: follow the current H1 candle or display a selected historical H1 candle.
  • H1Shift: choose the historical H1 candle when AutoFollowCurrentH1 is disabled.
  • ShowM30, ShowM15, ShowM5, ShowM1: enable or disable each nested timeframe.
  • Color, width and line-style inputs: adjust box outlines, levels and labels.
  • ObjectPrefix: keep object names separated from other indicators.

Attach it to any MT4 chart. M1 mode can create many objects, so disable it if the chart becomes too crowded.

The indicator is display-only. It does not open, close or modify trades. Values for the currently forming H1 and lower-timeframe candles update while the candles are still open.

An Expert Advisor (EA) version based on this H1 container logic is currently in development.
