GOLD PULSE V2 is a fully automated scalping Expert Advisor developed specifically for XAUUSD (Gold).
The strategy is based on mean reversion, combined with additional market filters designed to improve entry quality and avoid unnecessary trades.
Unlike systems that constantly stay in the market, GOLD PULSE V2 waits for its conditions to align, enters the market, manages the position automatically, and aims to complete trades within a relatively short period of time.
The main objective is simple: frequent small profits with controlled risk.
Strategy Structure
GOLD PULSE V2 combines mean-reversion logic with multiple confirmation filters.
The system looks for situations where price has moved away from its expected short-term equilibrium and a potential return toward the mean becomes statistically attractive.
However, a mean-reversion signal alone is not enough.
Additional filters are used before a position is opened. This helps the EA avoid entering every price deviation and keeps the number of trades under control.
Depending on market conditions, the EA normally executes approximately 3–15 trades per day.
Scalping Logic
GOLD PULSE V2 is designed as a scalping system.
Its positions are generally intended to stay open for a relatively short period of time while targeting small and repeatable profits.
The approximate profit profile per completed trade is designed around:
- Minimum target: approximately $1
- Typical target: approximately $2.50
- Maximum target: approximately $5
The exact result of each trade depends on market movement, spread, slippage, lot size, broker execution and account settings.
The EA also uses a Trailing Stop Loss to protect profitable positions.
If the position reaches the configured maximum profit area around $5, the EA closes the trade instead of continuing to hold it.
Controlled Scaling
Sometimes the first entry may not immediately move in the expected direction.
In this situation, GOLD PULSE V2 can add up to 2 additional positions.
This means one trading sequence can contain a maximum of 3 entries.
Additional positions are not opened continuously. They are controlled by the internal strategy rules and are used to improve the average entry price when market conditions remain valid.
The system does not continue adding unlimited positions.
Fixed Stop Loss Protection
One of the most important parts of GOLD PULSE V2 is its risk-control structure.
Every trading sequence is protected by a predefined fixed Stop Loss.
If the market continues moving strongly against the strategy, the EA accepts the loss and exits instead of continuously adding new positions.
This creates a clear maximum-risk structure for each trading sequence.
A Stop Loss can occasionally remove several days of normal profits. This is expected behavior for the strategy.
The objective is not to avoid every losing trade. The objective is to keep losses controlled so that normal trading can continue afterward.
Account Balance
GOLD PULSE V2 can technically operate with relatively small accounts.
Minimum balance: approximately $200
For better risk distribution and more comfortable operation, the recommended account size is:
$400–$500 or more
Using the recommended balance gives the EA more room to manage temporary adverse price movement and additional entries.
Daily Trading Profile
Under suitable market conditions and the intended risk configuration, the strategy is designed around a daily trading profile such as:
- Slower day: around $10
- Typical day: around $20–$30
- Strong day: up to approximately $50
These numbers are examples of the strategy's intended/testing profile and are not guaranteed daily returns.
