I am running this EA on live for the past week (5 working days), and it did not take any trade yet. The backtest is GREAT but i can't say if it works at all or not. According to backtest it takes 4-5 trades a week, and only once it did not have any trades for 5-7 days. Let's see, i'll give it a few more days...

I am running this EA on live for the past week (5 working days), and it did not take any trade yet. The backtest is GREAT but i can't say if it works at all or not. According to backtest it takes 4-5 trades a week, and only once it did not have any trades for 5-7 days. Let's see, i'll give it a few more days...

A quiet stretch on its own isn't unusual — however you should have taken trades during this time. It would be worth checking your MT5 Experts log (Experts tab in the Terminal window) for that period — if the EA attempted an order and got rejected, it'll print an "Order Failed" message with a return code. That's usually the quickest way to tell whether it's a spread/stop-level issue on your broker's Gold feed. I would be happy for you to send me any screen shots of the logs, along with the settings you are using, and your current broker spreads. I assume you can see the orders getting placed each day?
