LZ FMA Composite Pro

LZ FMA Composite builds a single “composite” moving average from fifteen Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) whose periods follow the Fibonacci sequence (from 2 up to 1597). Instead of cluttering the chart with fifteen lines, the indicator aggregates them per bar into one value using your choice of arithmetic mean, median, or weighted mean (with bias toward longer or shorter periods). The result is plotted as a two-colour trend line: segments highlight upward vs downward movement along the composite curve.

Optional Pro channel mode computes the same aggregation separately for High and Low prices, drawing an upper and lower channel boundary (and an optional shaded band between them). Channel lines use the same aggregation mode as the main composite for consistency.

Feature highlights

- Fifteen EMAs, one chart: Fibonacci periods 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597 — combined into a single FMA line on Close.

- Aggregation modes: Mean (default), Median (robust to outliers), or Weighted with bias toward long periods (smoother) or short periods (more responsive).

- Trend segments: dual-colour line segments (configurable colours) for down- vs up-sloping parts of the composite.

- Pro channel: optional FMA(High) / FMA(Low) envelope with configurable line and fill colours; fill can be toggled; opacity control for the shaded band (compatibility may vary by terminal build).

- Designed for chart-window use on any symbol and timeframe supported by MetaTrader 5 (sufficient history recommended because of the longest period).

Input parameters

Aggregation

- Combine 15 EMAs: Mean, Median, or Weighted.

- Weight bias (if Weighted): weights proportional to period (long-EMA emphasis) or to inverse period (short-EMA emphasis).

Pro channel

- Show Pro channel: enable FMA(High) and FMA(Low) channel; when off, only the composite trend line is shown.

- Channel fill: shaded area between channel lines; off draws boundary lines only.

- Channel opacity: fill alpha 1–255 (255 = solid; lower values add transparency where supported).

Colours

- Up / Down segment colours for the composite trend line.

- Channel upper, channel lower, and fill colours.

Installation

Copy LZ_FMA_Composite.ex5 to MQL5/Indicators/ (or your LZ subfolder), or install via the MQL5 Market (purchase/download in the terminal; the product appears under the Market tab and installs to the correct folder automatically). Restart MetaTrader 5 or refresh the Navigator, then drag the indicator onto a chart.

Compatibility

MetaTrader 5, build 3815 or higher. All symbols and timeframes; long warmup because of the maximum period (1597) — use enough bars in history.
