Many clients asked me to make an indicator similar to "Advanced Currency IMPULSE with ALERT" but including Gold or indices etc. similar to "Currency Strength Exotics".

Here you go!

Now you can have currency strength alerts for any symbols like Gold, Exotic Pairs Commodities, Indexes or Futures.

Please have your MT4 CHART HISTORY be ready for the time frame you want to use. The indicator need CHART HISTORY for this pairs:

Just wait a while if it is the first time.

Doesn't name your broker XAUUSD for Gold? Then enter the name for gold in "fix EXOTIC pair name" (including possible suffix).

If your broker uses a suffix ("EURUSDm") enter ("m") in the input parameter "suffix for currency pairs".

So check it out from time to time.

Use "C28.set" to have all currency pairs in your Market Watch window. Do not have many more symbols in the Market Watch.

"C28.set" goes into history\symbolsets folder.   Then you can recall it in market watch window with right click:

Anyway the indicator will do it automatically if it is needed.

Set the right input parameters. The first steps:

If you broker calls XAUUSD as "GOLD" enter GOLD in “EXOTIC pair name” input !  (include any suffix)
Let it empty if the name is XAUUSD or if you use another symbol on the chart. For other symbols (like DAX) let it empty. For EURSEK enter USDSEK.

• EXOTIC reverse line

If you want to reverse the golden line. (Gold strength is already reversed but you can undo if you reverse again, then set the input below (autodetect) to false.)

• autodetect EXOTIC to reverse line

This is now automated. If USD is the base currency the line is not reversed (USDMXN). For commodities, indexes, crypto etc. which USD is the quote currency (BTCUSD) the line is reversed.

• suffix for currency pairs (EURUSDm=m)

If your broker uses a suffix enter it here. (If EURUSD is called like EURUSDm then enter m). This is important!

Choose one of the 3 sensitivity modes (slow - medium - fast).

Sensitivity is the reaction time for speed/acceleration of currency strength calculation. That might be to technical. Slow means it reacts slower and fast means faster. The default is slow.  Choose the one you like depending on your trading style. Beginners should start with slow.

To change the input parameter double click the line and then click the small arrow to open the menu.

Make attention to the picture below. This is Gold Daily.

How to use

• Line width base and quote CS
  
• Line width other 6 CS
  
• Line other 6 CS dotted if width=1
• HIDE the other 6 CS lines

Those are graphical inputs.
