Deriv Synthetic Indices EA: Triple-Confluence Entry-Touch Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5
Most automated systems enter the moment a signal prints, wherever price happens to be. This one finds a signal, plots the exact entry level, and waits for price to touch it before opening the trade. It is built for Deriv synthetic indices such as Volatility 75 Index, where the lot size can start at 0.001.
2. WHAT THIS EA DOES
The EA scans the chart symbol on M5 for trade setups where three independent conditions agree. It then sets entry, stop and target levels, and manages the trade from entry to exit. It addresses three common problems: late entries, oversized risk, and stop-loss levels that sit visibly on the broker's server.
3. HOW THE TECHNOLOGY WORKS
At every new M5 bar the EA analyses closed candles only.
It looks for three conditions within a short window (5 bars by default): a momentum crossover on a smoothed RSI, an adaptive-RSI/supertrend crossover, and a structure break beyond the latest swing high or low.
When all three align, a signal is created. Its entry is the previous bar's close, and its stop sits beyond the structural swing with an ATR buffer, capped at 1.5×ATR. TP1 is set at 1:1 by default.
A second layer reads market structure (CHoCH/BOS, rejected blocks, fair value gaps). By default the signal must agree with the current structural direction.
The signal then waits. When price touches the entry line, a market order is sent.
4. CORE FEATURES
Triple-confluence signals reduce reliance on a single indicator. Entry on touch of the entry line follows the plotted level instead of chasing price. Stealth SL/TP keeps your real stop and target inside the EA, backed by a wider physical ATR-based SL/TP on the server as protection. Three lot modes and a spread filter control cost and exposure. An on-chart trade log shows your recent results.
5. BUY AND SELL SIGNALS
A buy requires bullish alignment of the three conditions, and a sell requires bearish alignment. The signal is confirmed on bar close. A signal older than the age limit (1 closed bar by default) is ignored. Once TP1 has been reached, the signal is finished and nothing trades until a new signal appears. Signals that already reached their stop are skipped by default.
6. TRADE SETUP INTERPRETATION
A plotted box shows entry to stop (red zone) and entry to TP1 (green zone). Think of the signal as an instruction to wait for price to return to or reach the entry level. No signal guarantees a profitable outcome, and the 1:1 target means results depend on the hit rate in your market.
7. CONFIRMATION AND FILTERS
Entry Terminal confluence: Off, Direction (default), or Full entry stage
Max signal age and per-day trade limit (1 per day by default)
One open position per symbol
Spread filter: spread must be under 15% of the stop distance and not more than twice the recent M5 average
Optional higher-timeframe and ADX filters, both off by default
Optional news exclusion, off by default
Market-session guard: the EA never sends an order or a close while the market is closed
8. CHART VISUALIZATION
The chart shows the signal box with entry, SL and TP1 levels, market-structure labels, fair value gaps, rejected blocks, fibonacci reaction zones, an ATR trailing line, VWAP/SMA/EMA/WMA overlays, and previous higher-timeframe highs and lows. The dashboard has a banner, a collapsible high-impact news panel, and a 10-trade log with a daily trade counter. Every drawing can be switched off in the inputs.
9. SUPPORTED TIMEFRAMES AND MARKETS
Signals are generated on M5 only, whichever timeframe the chart is on. The EA trades the symbol it is attached to. It is designed and tuned for Deriv synthetic indices; compatibility with other symbols or brokers has not been established. Test on a demo account before going live.
10. USER SETTINGS

11. INSTALLATION AND ACTIVATION
Install the EA and restart MetaTrader 5 if required.
Open a chart of your Deriv synthetic symbol.
Drag the EA from the Navigator onto the chart.
Enable Algo Trading in the terminal and in the EA's properties.
Set your risk inputs and confirm that the dashboard appears.
12. PRACTICAL TRADING PROCEDURE
Start on a demo account.
Choose a lot mode and a risk amount you are comfortable losing.
Let the EA run for a representative period.
Review the trade log and adjust one setting at a time.
Only then consider a small live account.
13. RISK MANAGEMENT
Built into the EA: risk-based lot sizing rounded to the broker's volume step, a free-margin cut-back, a daily trade cap, the spread filter, stealth stops with a physical backup, a stepped trailing stop (partial risk reduction at 60% of the target, break-even plus a buffer at 80%), and a market-session guard. Outside the EA, keep risk per trade small, avoid leveraging up after losses, and monitor your account.
14. LIMITATIONS AND TRANSPARENCY
False signals will occur, and the 1:1 target means a modest hit rate can still lose money. Signals are evaluated on closed M5 bars, but the chart drawings are recomputed on each new bar from the loaded history, so the visuals can change slightly as new data arrives. This EA does not claim non-repainting behaviour. There are no pop-up, email or push alerts. Stealth levels exist inside the terminal, so the EA must be running and connected for them to work. Backtest results do not guarantee live results.
15. WHO SHOULD USE THIS EA?
It suits traders of Deriv synthetic indices who prefer structured, rules-based entries on M5 and want clear risk control. It is not suited to traders seeking multi-symbol or multi-timeframe scanning, or alert-only tools.
16. WHY THIS EA DESERVES ATTENTION
It combines three independent signal conditions with a structure filter. It enters only when price returns to a defined level, it sizes lots from the stop distance, including the 0.001 minimum, and it protects each trade with both a hidden stop and a server-side backup. The signal box, trade log and daily limit give you a clear record of what the EA is doing.
17. RISK DISCLAIMER
Trading leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for every investor. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You can lose some or all of your capital. Use only money you can afford to lose.
