AurumEdge Prop Guardian
SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Account guard for prop firm challenges: closes all trades before your daily-loss or maximum-drawdown limit is reached, then blocks new trades until it is safe.
FULL DESCRIPTION:
AurumEdge Prop Guardian watches your whole account and acts before a prop firm rule is broken. Attach it to one chart and it protects every trade on the account, whether opened by you or by any EA.
What it does
- Daily loss guard: when equity falls to your daily safety line, it closes all trades and blocks trading until the next day starts.
- Maximum drawdown guard: static, trailing equity or trailing balance. When equity reaches the safety line, it closes all trades and blocks trading until you remove the lock.
- Safety buffer: acts a set % before each limit, so slippage on the closing trades does not take you over the line.
- Profit target (optional): closes everything and stops when your challenge target is reached.
- Friday close (optional): closes all trades at a chosen hour on Friday.
- Early warning when a set share of the daily limit has been used (default 70%).
- While locked, any new trade is closed immediately.
- Close all now button on the panel.
The panel shows, live
- Status (active or locked, and until when)
- Balance and equity, starting balance, today's result
- Daily and maximum drawdown safety lines with the room left in money
- Profit target, when the new day starts, which trades are watched, open positions
Alerts
- Pop-up, push notification to the MT5 mobile app, and sound (each can be switched on or off).
Setup
1. Attach Prop Guardian to any one chart on the account.
2. Enter your challenge's starting balance, daily loss %, maximum drawdown % and type, and the hour your prop firm starts its new day (broker server time).
3. Turn on Algo Trading. The panel warns you loudly if it is off, because the guard cannot close trades without it.
Good to know
- Prop Guardian must be running to protect you: keep MT5 open, ideally on a VPS.
- It closes trades at market. In fast markets or when the market is closed, the final result can differ from the safety line; the buffer is there for that.
- Check your prop firm's exact rules and enter them correctly. Prop Guardian follows the numbers you give it.
- It never opens trades on a live chart. In the Strategy Tester it places one small example trade a day so you can see the guard working.
- Locks and the starting balance are remembered if MT5 restarts.
Trading involves risk. Prop Guardian helps you respect your limits, but it cannot guarantee that a challenge is passed or that losses stay within a limit.
