Boom Boom Gold Scalper

Boom Boom Gold Scalper is an automated Gold Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5. It combines automatic trade entry, stop management, trailing stops and flexible lot sizing with a clear on-chart dashboard.

Five simple inputs make setup straightforward, while the dashboard displays account information and trading status.

Trading Setup

  • Platform: MetaTrader 5

  • Instrument: Gold — broker symbols containing GOLD or XAUUSD

  • Chart timeframe: M1

  • Account type: Hedging

  • Capital used for validation: $1,000 USD

  • Leverage used for validation: 1:100

Balances below $1,000 have not been validated. Capital and margin requirements depend on the broker’s Gold contract specifications, leverage and selected lot size.

Automatic and Fixed Lot Sizing

Choose between two lot-sizing options:

Auto Lot — Default

The EA calculates volume using account balance, the planned stop distance and the selected risk mode:

  • Balanced: 1% nominal risk per entry.

  • Aggressive: 2% nominal risk per entry.

Fixed Lot

The EA uses your selected trading volume. The default fixed-lot value is 0.01 lot, subject to the broker’s volume limits.

Balanced and Aggressive risk percentages apply only to Auto sizing. Fixed sizing does not automatically adjust volume as the balance changes.

Account Protection

The supplied version includes:

  • A 3% daily equity-loss trigger.

  • A 10% drawdown trigger measured from the equity peak tracked during the current EA session.

When a limit is reached, the EA blocks new entries and attempts to close its managed positions and cancel pending orders.

Protection references reset when the EA restarts or reinitializes. These triggers are execution controls, not guaranteed maximum-loss limits.

Built-in News Filter

The optional news filter uses the native MetaTrader 5 Economic Calendar.

It pauses new entries around scheduled high-impact USD events, from 5 minutes before until 5 minutes after the release. Pending orders are canceled during the pause, while existing positions remain managed.

If calendar data is unavailable, new entries remain paused until data recovers.

The news filter is Off by default. Keep it Off when using Strategy Tester.

Dashboard

Monitor balance, equity, EA floating profit/loss, today’s EA profit/loss, open positions, pending orders, spread and news-filter status from one compact panel.

Getting Started

  1. Attach the EA to one Gold M1 chart.

  2. Start with Balanced + Auto Lot.

  3. Enable Algo Trading.

  4. Keep MT5 running and connected.

  5. Test on a demo account before live use.

Use one EA instance per Gold symbol to avoid overlapping trade management.

Historical Testing

Historical validation used Gold M1, a $1,000 USD deposit, 1:100 leverage and 99% real-tick history.

Screenshots marked “Account Protection OFF” show an earlier research configuration. The supplied version has account protection enabled and can produce different results.
