Boom Boom Brave Gold
Boom Boom Brave Gold is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for gold trading, with three selectable trading profiles and an on-chart dashboard. Select a mode and press OK. Its corresponding parameters are applied automatically, without a separate preset file.
Trading setup
Platform: MetaTrader 5.
Market: Gold, XAUUSD.
Tested broker symbol: XAUUSDm. Other XAUUSD symbol variants require verification of the broker's specifications.
Chart timeframe: M5.
Account type: Hedging. Netting accounts are unsupported.
Starting balance used in testing: USD 500 on a standard USD account.
Test leverage: 1:500. Results at other leverage levels have not been established.
The broker must support the required order types and 0.01-lot volume. Run one instance per symbol and account.
Recommended setup: MetaTrader 5, Gold XAUUSD, M5 chart, and a hedging account. Use your broker’s gold symbol, such as XAUUSDm. Select a trading mode; its settings load automatically. Capital requirements
USD 500 is the tested starting balance, not a universal minimum or a safe-capital guarantee. Actual requirements depend on broker margin, contract size, minimum volume, costs and selected profile. Risk limits can prevent entries when the smallest broker volume does not fit the available budget. A larger balance does not eliminate the possibility of loss.
Three automatic profiles
Balanced uses automatic position sizing and includes daily loss protection and breakeven management. Its target stop-risk is 5% of equity per order, subject to broker volume constraints, with a 12% reserved stop-risk admission budget. This is still a high-risk profile.
Guarded uses fixed 0.01-lot entries with daily loss protection and a peak drawdown halt. Its name does not imply lower risk than Balanced. Historical Guarded equity drawdown exceeded Balanced drawdown.
Aggressive uses fixed 0.01-lot entries without added daily or peak equity protection. It can experience substantial drawdown. An earlier independent May test starting with USD 500 lost the entire deposit.
Dashboard and controls
The dashboard displays account balance, equity and free margin, together with EA session results, floating profit or loss, trade statistics, observed drawdown, active protection, spread and execution status. Account balance and equity are account-wide; EA performance totals start from attachment.
The inputs are Trading mode, Show dashboard, Horizontal position, Vertical position and Dashboard size. Display controls do not change the selected trading profile. No additional indicators, source files or preset files are needed for installation.
Getting started
Install the EX5 through MetaTrader 5, open the broker's gold M5 chart and attach Boom Boom Brave. Choose a profile and enable Algo Trading in both the terminal and EA settings. Keep MT5 connected and running so automated management can operate. A VPS is optional.
The EA waits for qualifying trading conditions and may have periods without trades. History loading, spread, broker requirements or risk limits can prevent an entry. The dashboard displays blocked permissions or missing connection; broker rejection information is available in the Experts journal.
Change profiles with no existing EA positions or pending orders. Protection state is stored locally across restarts. A Guarded peak halt requires a deliberate reset. Moving to another computer or VPS does not automatically transfer this state. Other account trading, deposits and withdrawals may affect equity-based protection.
Backtesting and risk
The accompanying v2.03 continuous historical tests cover January 1 through October 21, 2026, using XAUUSDm M5, a USD 500 initial deposit, 1:500 leverage and real ticks. October is a partial month. Each profile starts independently with USD 500; the account is not reset each month. Testing uses zero simulated execution delay, and broker tester costs apply. Results from different brokers, costs and execution conditions may differ.
These are historical simulations, not live account results. Forward broker execution has not yet been established for this release. No monthly income or future profit is guaranteed. Gaps, slippage, disconnection and failed executions can exceed stop-loss and equity protection limits. Trading can lose the full deposit. Test the intended broker and profile on a demo account before considering real funds.
