BRSI BUY SELL INDICATOR
BB RSI Histogram Scanner – Multi-Symbol Bollinger + RSI Confluence Scanner with Trade Ticket
A professional MetaTrader 5 indicator that combines a Bollinger Bands state filter with an RSI histogram, multi-timeframe confluence, daily bias, and a live multi-symbol scanner. It surfaces high-quality breakout signals across major pairs on M15–H4, draws clear trade boxes with calculated risk levels, and provides a one-click trade ticket so you can act on verified setups without leaving the platform.
2. WHAT THIS INDICATOR DOES
Most traders struggle to catch clean Bollinger Band breakouts that are supported by momentum and higher-timeframe context while monitoring many pairs at once. This indicator solves that by continuously scanning selected symbols on four timeframes, applying strict multi-condition filters, and presenting only the strongest remaining signals on a clean dashboard with ready-to-use entry, stop-loss, take-profit, and position-size values.
3. HOW THE TECHNOLOGY WORKS
Price action is evaluated against a 55-period Bollinger Band (multiplier 1.0 by default). A buy signal requires the prior close to have been outside the lower band, the current close to finish above the upper band (basis turns bullish), and the RSI histogram (default length 7 smoothed by KAMA) to be positive and rising. Sell signals are the exact mirror. Optional filters then confirm alignment with the daily bias (EMA, RSI, MACD, ADX, volume spike, pivot) and the higher-timeframe Bollinger + RSI state. Only unresolved signals that still meet every active filter are ranked by freshness and timeframe weight and displayed.
4. CORE FEATURES
Live multi-symbol scanner across M15, M30, H1 and H4
Strict Bollinger Band breakout logic with prior-side memory
RSI histogram momentum filter (SMA/EMA/WMA/HMA/JMA/KAMA)
Daily bias engine and automatic higher-timeframe confluence
High-impact news filter and warning panel
Visual trade boxes (entry-to-TP green, entry-to-SL red) plus 1:1 TP1 line
Color-coded candles and basis line matching the original Pine concept
One-click “Trade” button that opens the signal chart with a full order ticket
Risk-percentage lot-size calculation
Alerts, push notifications and optional email
Optional auto-scan timer and historical signal history
5. BUY AND SELL SIGNALS
A buy appears only when the candle closes above the upper Bollinger Band after the market had previously closed below the lower band, and the RSI histogram is both above zero and increasing (when the RSI filter is enabled). A sell requires the opposite sequence. Signals are evaluated on closed bars. On the chart they appear as green or red fill boxes spanning from the signal bar forward, together with horizontal TP1 (1:1) and final TP levels. The scanner lists only signals that have not yet hit stop or target.
6. TRADE SETUP INTERPRETATION
When a row appears on the dashboard, the pair, timeframe, direction, calculated lot size, stop-loss and take-profit are already shown. Click “Trade” to open that exact chart with the same levels pre-loaded into an order ticket. On the chart itself the green box marks the profit zone and the red box the risk zone; the TP1 line shows the 1:1 risk-reward target. Use the daily bias banner at the top of every chart as a directional filter: “BUY ONLY”, “SELL ONLY” or “NO CLEAR BIAS”.
7. CONFIRMATION AND FILTERS
RSI Histogram Filter – requires the histogram to be growing in the signal direction.
Daily Bias – signal direction must match the composite daily reading (price vs EMA, RSI >/< 50, MACD, ADX + DI, volume spike, pivot).
Higher-Timeframe Confluence – the automatically selected higher timeframe (M15→H1, M30→H4, H1→H4, H4→D1) must show matching Bollinger state and RSI agreement.
News Block – optional rejection of signals when high-impact calendar events for the symbol’s currencies fall inside the defined window.
All filters are independently toggleable.
8. CHART VISUALIZATION
Upper and lower Bollinger Bands with translucent fills
Color-changing basis line (blue/purple/gray)
Color-coded candles reflecting band position
Green/red arrows at every basis color change
Signal boxes drawn as non-obscuring fill plots
TP1 1:1 line with label
Bottom RSI histogram panel rendered as colored bars
Daily bias banner, news warning panel and ranked signal dashboard
Optional period separators on lower timeframes
9. SUPPORTED TIMEFRAMES AND MARKETS
The scanner evaluates M15, M30, H1 and H4 on every symbol present in the Market Watch. The indicator itself can be attached to any timeframe; higher-timeframe confluence is calculated automatically. Works with any broker that supplies the MetaTrader 5 economic calendar and standard symbol properties (tick value, volume step, etc.)
10. USER SETTINGS
Key groups include Bollinger length and multiplier, RSI length and smoothing type (including KAMA alpha), filter toggles, risk-reward ratio, swing-based stop calculation, risk percentage for lot sizing, scan look-back and auto-scan interval, news window, daily-bias parameters, chart theme options, history depth, and alert channels. All defaults are production-ready; advanced users can fine-tune every component.
11. INSTALLATION AND ACTIVATION
Copy the .ex5 file into the MetaTrader 5 Indicators folder (or compile the .mq5). Restart the terminal or refresh the Navigator. Drag the indicator onto any chart. The scanner dashboard and controls appear immediately. Press “SCAN ALL” or wait for the auto-scan timer. No external DLL or paid service is required.
12. PRACTICAL TRADING PROCEDURE
Attach the indicator to a clean chart and apply the optional white theme.
Press SCAN ALL (or enable auto-scan).
Review the ranked dashboard – highest-scoring unresolved signals appear first.
Confirm the daily bias banner and news panel.
Click “Trade” on a chosen row; a new chart opens with levels and ticket ready.
Adjust volume or targets if desired, then send the order.
Manage the trade using the drawn boxes and TP1 level.
13. RISK MANAGEMENT
The indicator calculates position size from a user-defined percentage of account balance and the distance from entry to the swing-based stop. A 1:1 TP1 level and a higher RR final target are drawn automatically. It does not manage open trades or trail stops; those decisions remain with the trader. Always verify lot size against your broker’s minimum and maximum volume rules.
14. LIMITATIONS AND TRANSPARENCY
Signals are generated on closed bars only; the scanner ignores any signal that has already reached its stop or target. Historical boxes are drawn for reference but do not repaint once the bar has closed. Performance depends on clean Bollinger + RSI behavior and the quality of the daily bias. High-impact news, low-liquidity sessions and sudden volatility can still produce losing trades. The tool is an analytical and execution aid, not a fully automated strategy.
15. WHO SHOULD USE THIS INDICATOR?
Traders who prefer rule-based Bollinger Band breakouts filtered by momentum and higher-timeframe context, multi-pair scanners, and clear visual risk levels. Suitable for discretionary traders who want a structured workflow rather than pure automation, and for those who value transparent, adjustable filters over black-box signals.
16. WHY THIS INDICATOR DESERVES ATTENTION
It unifies a proven Bollinger state machine, a properly ported RSI histogram, daily bias, higher-timeframe confluence, news awareness, automatic risk calculation and a seamless trade ticket into one coherent package. The result is fewer random breakouts and a faster path from signal detection to order placement—exactly what active multi-pair traders need.
17. RISK DISCLAIMER
Trading foreign exchange and CFDs involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance of any methodology is not indicative of future results. This indicator does not guarantee profits or eliminate risk. Always use proper risk management and never risk more than you can afford to lose.
