<p><b>Gold CBR EA</b> is a structure-based trading robot for XAUUSD (Gold). It trades trend continuation after range breakouts using swing-point logic (CHoCH and BOS), and only enters when trend strength is confirmed. It always works on the H1 timeframe, whatever the chart timeframe is.</p>
<p><b>How it works</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Detects ranges from matching swing highs and swing lows, filtered by ADX so it only marks ranges when the market is quiet.</li>
<li>A close beyond the range edge starts a trend leg. The EA then waits for a pullback and enters on the Break of Structure (BOS).</li>
<li>In a trend, waits for a pullback (higher low or lower high), then enters on a Break of Structure (BOS).</li>
<li>A Change of Character (CHoCH) flips the bias, but does not close open trades.</li>
<li>Entries need ADX above a minimum, rising, with DI direction agreeing.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Risk management</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Every trade has a stop loss placed beyond the key swing level and limited by ATR.</li>
<li>Take profit at 3x the initial stop distance.</li>
<li>ATR trailing stop that only tightens.</li>
<li>One position at a time. No martingale, no grid, no averaging.</li>
<li>Lot size is set once per calendar year from your balance ($300 = 0.01 lot) and locked for that year. You can switch this off and use a fixed lot.</li>

<p><b>Recommended setup</b></p>

<li>Symbol: XAUUSD</li>
<li>Timeframe: H1 (the EA uses H1 data even if attached to another timeframe)</li>
<li>Minimum balance: $300 (with default settings)</li>
<li>Works on any broker with the same symbol. Use a low-spread account.</li>

<li><b>InpUseCompounding</b> - true = lot scales with balance once per year; false = fixed lot</li>
<li><b>InpBalanceStep</b> - Balance bracket size in $ (default 300)</li>
<li><b>InpLotStep</b> - Lot added per bracket (default 0.01)</li>
<li><b>InpMinLotSize</b> - Minimum lot size</li>
<li><b>InpSwingN</b> - Candles on each side used to confirm a swing point</li>
<li><b>InpLookback</b> - Number of bars scanned for swings</li>
<li><b>InpRangeTolATR</b> - Max gap between the two tops / two bottoms of a range (in ATR)</li>
<li><b>InpRangeMinATR</b> - Minimum range height (in ATR)</li>
<li><b>InpRangeMaxATR</b> - Maximum range height (in ATR)</li>
<li><b>InpRangeADXMax</b> - ADX must be below this to mark a range (0 = off)</li>
<li><b>InpBreakBufATR</b> - Close must pass the range edge by this much (in ATR)</li>
<li><b>InpMaxPhaseBars</b> - Resets the trend state if stuck this many bars with no position</li>
<li><b>InpADXPeriod</b> - ADX period</li>

<li><b>InpRequireDI</b> - Require +DI / -DI to agree with trade direction</li>
