What This EA Does
Nexon Lightning EA is a fully automated trading system built exclusively for Gold. It uses its own internal logic to identify high-probability trade setups on XAUUSD and executes pending orders automatically with built-in stop loss, take profit, and optional trailing stop.
No indicators on the chart. No repainting. No martingale. No grid. No hedging. Just clean automated execution.
Tested only on XAUUSD M1. Works on any timeframe but M1 gives the most accurate entry timing.
This EA trades through news events. High-impact releases like NFP, CPI, and FOMC often create the exact volatility and range expansion that this system is built to capture. No manual intervention needed — the EA handles it automatically.
Trade Frequency & Market Conditions
Nexon Lightning EA is designed for quality over quantity. On active days, the EA takes a maximum of 2 trades per day — no overtrading, no chasing the market.
During low-range, low-volume market conditions (such as thin holiday sessions or compressed consolidation periods), the EA will intentionally stay out of the market entirely and produce zero trades. This is expected and correct behaviour — protecting capital during unfavourable conditions is part of the edge, not a flaw.
The spread filter can be enabled to block entries when spreads spike excessively during the first second of a news release. This is optional and adjustable based on your broker's behaviour.
Important — Performance Expectations
Nexon Lightning EA is not designed for short-term profit guarantees. No honest EA is. In any given week or month, results will vary — there will be flat periods, and there will be drawdowns.
What this EA is built for is long-term, compounding, institution-quality results on Gold. The underlying logic mirrors the kind of disciplined, rule-based execution used by systematic trading desks and quantitative funds — high selectivity, controlled risk per trade, and consistent application of an edge over hundreds of executions.
Users who run this EA patiently, with proper risk settings and without interfering with its logic, position themselves for the kind of equity curve that compounds into world-class returns over time.
Do not judge this EA on a single week. Judge it on a 6-month or 12-month track record.
Settings Explained
Core Settings
Offset Points — entry buffer distance for pending order placement
Lot Size — fixed lot size (used when Capital Lot Sizing is OFF)
TP Points — take profit distance in points
SL Points — stop loss distance in points
Magic Number — unique ID so this EA's orders don't mix with others
Trailing Start Points — profit in points before trailing stop kicks in
Trailing Stop Points — trailing distance once activated
Capital Lot Sizing
This is the most important setting to understand.
Fixed Lot (UseCapitalLot = false): EA always trades the exact lot size you set. Simple, predictable. Good for beginners or fixed-risk traders.
Capital Lot (UseCapitalLot = true): EA automatically calculates lot size based on a percentage of your account balance. Balance grows — lots grow. Balance drops — lots drop. Proper risk management built in.
Example: $1000 balance, CapitalPercent = 16% — EA uses $160 worth of margin per trade. If balance reaches $2000, it automatically adjusts to $500. You don't change anything manually.
And if you enable Max Risk Per Trade, it overrides the maximum allowed risk limit for each trade.
Order Expiry
Cancels pending orders that haven't triggered within the set number of hours.
Prevents stale orders from filling during low-liquidity periods.
Max Risk Per Trade
Blocks any trade where the dollar risk would exceed your limit.
Extra safety net on top of the lot sizing.
Trading Days
Enable or disable specific days.
Default is Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday — the strongest days based on testing.
Session Time Filter
Only allows orders to be placed within specified broker time hours.
Avoids bad-timing entries outside active sessions.
Spread Filter
Optional.
Blocks entry when the Gold spread is too wide.
Useful if your broker widens spreads aggressively during the first moments of a news release.
For brokers with stable spreads during news, this can be left disabled so the EA captures the full move.
What Runs in the Background
The EA has internal timing logic that handles Gold market open and close automatically.
It cancels unfilled orders before the daily close and waits for the market to properly reopen before placing fresh orders the next day.
This is hardcoded and always active because it's essential for Gold — you cannot accidentally disable it.
