Volume Profile FAN Indicator
One-line description:
Displays volume profile histogram on the left/right side of the chart, showing volume distribution across price levels to identify key support and resistance zones.
Core Features:
- Volume Profile Histogram: Divides price range into N levels and calculates volume for each level
- POC (Point of Control): Price level with highest volume, displayed as thick orange line
- Value Area (VAH/VAL): Price zone containing 70% of total volume, shown as red/green lines
- High Volume Highlight: Bars exceeding 80% of max volume are automatically highlighted
- Price Break Alerts: Pop-up/sound alerts when price breaks POC/VAH/VAL
- Draggable Range: Green vertical line can be dragged to adjust calculation range
- Left/Right Switch: Histogram can be displayed on left or right side of chart
Adjustable Parameters:
Calculation Settings:
- Lookback Bars: Number of bars to calculate (default: 100)
- VP Bars: Number of price levels (default: 100)
- Value Area Percentage: Value area ratio (default: 70%)
Color Settings:
- Normal Bar / POC / VAH / VAL / High Volume colors - fully customizable
Display Settings:
- Bar Side: Left / Right
- POC/VAH/VAL extension lines on/off
Alert Settings:
- POC/VAH/VAL break alerts - independent switches
