FOTSI Oscillator MT5

Il FOTSI è un indicatore che si permette di svolgere l'analisi della forza relativa delle valute presenti nei principali cambi del Forex.

Questo strumento si cerca di anticipare le correzioni delle coppie valutarie in seguito a forti trend, individuando eventuali segnali di entrata grazie a delle aree target di ipercomprato ed ipervenduto.

Logica Teorica di costruzione:

  1. Calcolo del Momentum delle Singole Valute: Il FOTSI parte dal calcolo del momentum per ogni coppia valutaria che include una valuta specifica, aggregando poi in per valuta di interesse (EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, JPY, AUD, CAD, NZD)

  2. Applicazione della Formula del TSI: Si applica la formula del "True Strength Index (TSI)"  ai momentum delle singole valute ottenute (punto 1). Ciò produce un oscillatore che oscilla al di sopra e al di sotto dello 0.

  3. Reattività e Minimizzazione dei Ritardi: Il FOTSI utilizza un doppio smoothing sul momentum delle singole valute grazie al TSI. Questa caratteristica conferisce all'indicatore una notevole una pulizia sulla curva dell'oscillatore, provando a ridurre al minimo i ritardi nelle inversioni dei trend.

SINTESI OPERATIVITA'

Sull'indicatore è suggerita una strategia "Mean Reverting", a seguito i passaggi operativi suggeriti da svolgere per poter identificare, aprire e chiudere la posizione.

Le aree di identificazione sono le seguenti e utilizzabilità:

  • IPERCOMPRATO: Maggiore di 50.
  • IPERVENDUTO: Minore di -50.
  • AREE FLAT: Tra -25 e +25.
Altri dettagli:
  • E' consigliabile utilizzarlo in H1, H4 e D1.
  • Applicandolo al grafico, l'oscillatore varia se si cambia il timeframe.
  • Se non si cambia TimeFrame ma si cambia la coppia di valute l'indicatore rimane il medesimo (perchè rappresenta la forza valutaria)
  • Le due medie mobili applicate nella formula TSI sono su 25 e 15 periodi. Questi sono valori standard ma possono essere cambiati su valori inferiori se si vogliono più opportunità di investimento (che possono causare anche un aumento di falsi allarmi).

L'operatività suggerita è la seguente:

  1. Individuazione delle Valute: Identificare una valuta in area di ipercomprato (+50) o ipervenduto (-50).

  2. Selezione delle Valute Opposte: Identificare le valute opposte all'area Flat (in caso di Ipercomprato al punto 1 le valute da identificare saranno quelle <-25, al contrario >+25)

  3. Apertura della Posizione: Aprire la coppia di valute composta dalle due valute individuate, la posizione si apre quando si ha una convergenza verso il centro della curva identificata o in Ipercomprato o in Ipervenduto. Si apre all'inizio della nuova candela dopo aver registrato la convergenza del FOTSI sulla valuta indicata.

  4. Condizioni di Chiusura: A discrezione del trader, si suggerisce di chiudere quanto il prezzo super la media mobile esponenziale a 50 periodi e a 100 periodi (aprire perciò 2 posizioni nel punto 3)

  5. Stoploss e Position Sizing: Si consiglia di non utilizzare uno stoploss, se necessario impostare a 5 volte l'ATR sul timeframe di riferimento. Prestare attenzione al position sizing, essendo una strategia contro trend.

Esempio Pratico (riconducibile ai punti sopra):

  1. Identificata a Dic-2022 Ipervenduto su NZD (sotto -50), valute opposte CAD, EUR e GBP (sopra +25). In questo esempio si mostreranno gli screen solo del caso NZDCAD [IMG_1.png].
  2. Aprire la prima posizione Short su NZDCAD per chiuderla in corrispondenza della chiusura precedente al di sotto di EMA100 (linea rossa) [IMG_2.png] .
  3. Aprire la seconda posizione Short su NZDCAD per chiuderla in corrispondenza della chiusura precedente al di sotto di EMA50 (linea gialla) [IMG_3.png] .

IMPOSTAZIONI e INPUT

Le impostazioni DEFAULT vanno bene per tutti i grafici.

  • MovingAverage_1 e MovingAverage_2: Periodi delle due medie mobili per applicare la formula del TSI.
