God’s Eye
God’s Eye is a chart-based market-structure and range-planning indicator for MetaTrader 5. It combines daily volatility context with price structure on the active chart timeframe. It is designed to support discretionary analysis and provide data buffers for Expert Advisors; it does not place trades or guarantee trade outcomes.
Daily Range Dashboard
God’s Eye calculates an average daily high-low range from completed D1 bars and compares it with price movement from the current daily open. The dashboard displays range usage and can flag when the configured exhaustion threshold is reached.
For Forex symbols, daily distances are displayed in pips. Other instruments display distances in price units. If sufficient D1 history is not available, the dashboard indicates that it is waiting for history rather than displaying incomplete range values.
A range-exhaustion reading means price has moved substantially relative to the configured daily range.
Market Structure and Liquidity Levels
The indicator scans swing highs and lows on the active chart timeframe using configurable fractal strength and lookback settings. Nearby swing levels can be grouped into equal-high and equal-low zones, with selected levels displayed as liquidity reference points.
Directional Context and Price Projection
God’s Eye compares the last completed candle with the midpoint of the recent price range to maintain a directional bias. It displays the selected target level, a structural invalidation level, and a cyan projection path for visual reference. These are analytical overlays, not predictions or trade instructions.
Optional Risk/Reward Plan
The optional on-chart plan displays entry, stop, and target areas using the indicator’s current levels. Select a minimum reward-to-risk ratio of 1:1, 1:1.1, 1:2, 1:2.5, or 1:3. The visual and entry suggestion can be enabled independently. When the current price does not meet the selected ratio, the indicator can show a ratio-qualified pullback entry to watch.
When the daily range is exhausted, the indicator can display a clearly labeled counter-bias scenario. This is a hypothetical plan, not confirmation of a reversal.
Expert Advisor Integration
God’s Eye provides five indicator buffers that EAs can read using an MQL5 indicator handle and CopyBuffer:
Buffer 0: directional bias (1 bullish, -1 bearish, 0 neutral)
Buffer 1: fuel remaining (0 to 100)
Buffer 2: selected target price
Buffer 3: structural invalidation price
Buffer 4: range-exhaustion flag (1 active, 0 inactive)
The directional bias can be neutral during exhaustion; check buffer 4 separately for the exhaustion state.
Inputs and Operation
Inputs control the D1 range calculation, exhaustion threshold, swing lookback and strength, equal-level tolerance, number of displayed levels, risk/reward ratio, and overlay visibility. The indicator uses throttled updates and removes its chart objects when it is removed.
It uses D1 history for range context and the active chart timeframe for swing-structure analysis. Calculations and displayed levels depend on symbol data, timeframe, and available history.
