Manual Trading Guard is a manual trading discipline and risk-management Expert Advisor designed to help traders follow predefined trading limits, reduce overtrading, and maintain a more structured trading routine.

This EA does not generate automatic BUY or SELL signals. You remain in control of every entry, while the EA monitors your trading activity and applies its configured risk-management rules.

  • Daily Trade Limit — Tracks the number of trades and enforces the configured daily limit through its violation-handling mechanism.

  • Single Open Position — Monitors the number of open positions to discourage additional entries and layering.

  • Cooldown Protection — Applies a waiting period after a position closes before another trade is permitted under the EA's rules.

  • On-Chart Dashboard — Displays daily profit/loss, trading activity, open positions, cooldown status, and protection status.

  • No Martingale or Layering Strategy — Designed around fixed lot sizing and predefined risk parameters.

Default Settings

  • Fixed Lot: 0.01

  • Stop Loss: 500 points

  • Take Profit: 750 points

  • Daily Profit Target: 30 account-currency units

  • Daily Maximum Loss: 20 account-currency units

  • Maximum Trades per Day: 3

  • Maximum Open Positions: 1

  • Cooldown: 15 minutes

All settings should be reviewed and tested with your broker's symbol specifications before live trading.

Important Information

Manual Trading Guard is a risk-management tool, not a profit-generating system. It does not guarantee profits or prevent all losses.

MetaTrader 5 does not allow a standard EA to intercept every native manual BUY/SELL click before the broker receives the order. The EA detects trading-rule violations and attempts to close non-compliant positions when possible. Closure and SL/TP modification may fail due to broker restrictions, market conditions, connection issues, or execution errors.

Daily limits depend on the EA's calculation method and account currency. For limits expressed in USD, a USD-denominated account is recommended.
