Gold Three Hour Sell Only Breakout


A mechanical sell-only Expert Advisor for XAUUSD. It builds a three-hour range from completed M15 candles between 03:00 and 06:00, then places one sell-stop below the range low during the 06:00 to 16:55 trading session.


The default setup uses a 1% entry-price stop-loss, a fixed 2R take-profit, 120-minute pending-order expiry, one entry per day, and 0.50% account-risk sizing subject to broker limits.


Default settings: Symbol XAUUSD. Signal timeframe D1. Range timeframe M15. Direction sell-only.


Broker server time, spread, execution quality, symbol specifications, and history can affect results. Test on demo and validate settings with your broker before live use. Past backtest results do not guarantee future performance. MetaTrader 5 only; no DLL imports.
