Account Risk Guard MT5

Account Risk Guard MT5 is a chart-attached, non-entry risk-management utility for MetaTrader 5. It calculates a maximum trade volume from a chosen risk amount and stop-loss distance, provides stop-loss and take-profit guides, monitors today's net P/L, and can close matching positions when a daily-loss limit is reached.

It does not generate entry signals or open new trades. It is designed to help the trader apply the risk limits they choose.

How to use

1. Attach the utility to a chart and choose the calculation symbol if required.
2. Set risk per trade, a stop-loss method, and the reward-to-risk ratio.
3. Review the displayed maximum volume and price-distance guides before placing a trade.
4. Configure the daily-loss limit and position scope. The default scope is the current chart/calculation symbol.

Key inputs

• Risk per trade: percentage of equity or fixed cash risk, plus an effective-risk cap.
• Stop loss / take profit calculator: symbol, fixed or ATR stop-loss settings, and reward-to-risk ratio.
• Daily loss circuit breaker: percentage or cash limit, close-on-breach option, timer interval, and close deviation.
• Scope: current symbol or all symbols, with an optional magic-number filter.
• Dashboard: display toggle, chart offsets, and compact chart-comment fallback.

Important notes

• The utility does not prevent manual trading or other Expert Advisors from opening new positions.
• When enabled, auto-close rechecks matching open positions at the configured timer interval after a daily-loss breach.
• Calculations depend on the selected inputs and the broker's symbol contract specification.
• The utility cannot operate while MetaTrader 5, its broker connection, or the attached program is unavailable.
• Numbers displayed on the dashboard, including P/L, are contextual readings. They are not backtest results, marketing performance statistics, or an indication of expected returns.
