Lightning EA - is a systematic automated Expert Advisor built for traders who want clear, configurable control over every aspect of trade execution. No ambiguity, no hidden mechanics — every behavioral parameter is exposed and adjustable.

Lightning operates on a series-based position model. Rather than treating each trade in isolation, the EA manages a sequence of positions governed by a step multiplier and a series depth limit. This structure allows the system to respond to evolving price conditions within a controlled framework, capped by user-defined boundaries.

Directional trading can be enabled or disabled independently for long and short sides. Running the EA in one direction only is fully supported and requires no additional configuration.

Entry decisions are driven by three interconnected parameters. The analysis window defines how much historical price data is considered. The deviation threshold determines the statistical significance required before a signal qualifies. Two corridor parameters further constrain valid signal ranges across the primary and secondary evaluation layers.

Adjusting these five values gives the user precise control over entry frequency and selectivity without touching any other part of the system.

Fixed Take Profit and Stop Loss are active at all times. The optional trailing stop adds a dynamic exit layer — it engages after a configurable profit distance is reached and follows price at a set interval. Disabling trailing requires nothing more than leaving both values at zero.

Lightning supports fixed lot trading and automatic equity-proportional sizing. In automatic mode the lot is recalculated before each new series based on current account equity and the configured percentage. The two modes are mutually exclusive and switched with a single toggle.

Test thoroughly in the Strategy Tester across multiple symbols and time periods. Series-based systems are sensitive to parameter combinations — small changes in step multiplier or series depth produce meaningfully different behavior. A demo period before live deployment is strongly recommended.
