Important Notes
Symbol naming conventions: Different brokers use different symbol names for Bitcoin (BTCUSD, BTCUSD.a, BTCUSDm, etc.). The EA automatically detects the active symbol and applies the correct engine. If you encounter issues, contact support.
Broker selection: Bitcoin spread and swap costs vary significantly between brokers. A 50-pip spread difference on BTCUSD can erode profitability on H4 systems. We recommend verifying typical BTCUSD spread is below 30 USD points before live deployment.
Volatility regimes: BTC Platinum H4 is a trend-following system. In extended choppy/sideways regimes, the EA will reduce activity and may have weeks without trades. This is by design — the system targets high-probability trend continuations only.
VPS recommendation: For consistent 24/7 execution, a VPS with under 50ms latency to your broker is strongly recommended, though not strictly required.
