Cyclic RSI Adaptive Bands MT5 is a separate-window oscillator that displays a cyclic Relative Strength Index line with adaptive upper and lower bands.

The bands adjust to recent oscillator behavior. This helps show when momentum has moved far from its recent range and when it returns toward the middle area.

Common uses

• Review when the oscillator moves above the adaptive upper band.
• Review when the oscillator moves below the adaptive lower band.
• Watch when the oscillator returns inside the band area.
• Use optional arrows as visual markers for band crosses and returns.

Basic use

1. Add the indicator to an MT5 chart.
2. Set the dominant cycle length for the symbol and timeframe.
3. Review the oscillator line relative to the adaptive bands.
4. Use band crosses and returns as analysis markers.
5. Combine the information with your own trend, price action, and risk rules.

Inputs

• manualdomcycle: sets the dominant cycle length.
• Arrows: selects which arrow markers are shown.
• MaxCalculatedBars: limits how many historical bars are calculated.
• DrawArrowsOnChart: turns main-chart arrows on or off.
• MaxHistoricalArrowBars: limits how far back arrows are drawn.
• EnablePushNotifications: sends mobile push notifications for new band signals when enabled in MetaTrader.
• EnablePopupAlerts: shows terminal pop-up alerts for new band signals.
• NotifyOnClosedBarOnly: sends alerts after a candle closes instead of on the active candle.

Buffers

• Buffer 0: oscillator value.
• Buffer 1: upper band.
• Buffer 2: lower band.
• Buffer 3: cross marker code.
• Buffer 4: oscillator state.
• Buffer 5: dominant cycle.

Cross marker values

• 0: no marker.
• 1: oscillator crosses below the lower band.
• 2: oscillator crosses back above the lower band.
• 3: oscillator crosses above the upper band.
• 4: oscillator crosses back below the upper band.

State values

• 0: neutral, between bands.
• 1: below lower band.
• 2: above upper band.

Signals

• Green arrows mark cyclic RSI re-entry or recovery signals from the adaptive lower band.
• Red arrows mark cyclic RSI re-entry or stretch signals from the adaptive upper band.
