Hello, I bought this as I had been using the original one for some time. Is there no setting for you at adjust the currency colors as in the older version? That would be critical for me as I have been using the same color scheme for years.

You can adjust all currency colors and their line style via the Colors tab of FX Power, as seen below.

Daniel I double checked, I am using version 4.15 and my screen does not look like yours. Plus when I change the color in the color section for the currency line it only changes the line color and not the text that is pegged to the line, so this is a problem. I will attach a screen shot to demonstrate what my version looks like ( no symbols on the left side like your screen shot) plus what happens when I actually try to change one of the colors of the lines.

You're right. That's a bug in the MT4 version, and we'll fix that asap.

You'll get a notification as soon as the next version of FX Power NG is available in the market.

Thank you for the update, I can now change the colors and text together, but when I save it with my colors, as my template and I attach the indicator to another chart and load my template, it goes right back to the default colors. If my MT4 needs a reboot and I have to load the indicator again, I have to do the whole process again from scratch. It is also a pain to quickly switch the colors as you don't have them labeled by currency in the inputs tab in settings. Can you please implement that into the new version as it was very well done in the old version. Thank you in advance.

The current configuration options are precisely where they have to be and as it is intended by Metaquotes.

And they contain not just the color, they contain the entire styling of the history lines as width and style, too.

I tested your scenario on my MT4, and I'm unable to reproduce your issue because everything works as expected.

I changed the USD line to DeepPink and dotted, saved it as a template, opened several new charts, loaded the template and the USD line appeared DeepPink and dotted.

And after a reboot of my MT4, all current instances used this modified config as well and the template is still working.


So, if there is such an issue on your MT4 I highly recommend installing a second MT4 instance, re-install the tools from the market and build your setup from scratch.

I'm pretty sure it will work exactly as you expect it to work.

Yes, you can display the history line by enabling it in the FX Power properties.

I just rented two of your indicators- fx volume and fx power ng, and I have a problem with setting the fx power ng indicator in your new strategy-three dogs ;-)

I have a bug in my MT4 because I can't set the line size/style according to your screenshots. I know how to do it (I've been watching your tutrials on yt) but my MT4 has some problems- maybe it's related to the poor performance of my laptop.

I feel silly to ask this because everything is nicely explained on the tutorials, but could you please send me a .tpl file with these charts already set up.

I'm so desperate that I might even set up a new account on MT5 and rent a new FX Power NG, just to make it work right.

Do you think that on MT5 I shouldn't have problems with the chart setting?

Hi astrafx,

You're right. It works perfectly on MT5, but unfortunately not (yet) on MT4.

MT4 has many limitations which force us either to limit the features of our products which are using common code, or to find tricks to do the same in MT4 as in MT5.

In this case, about the lines settings when using multiple instances in a same sub-windows, it's because we need to use a trick to get the colours settings. 

We’ll fix that during this week, and provide our MT4 users with an update. You'll get a notification here on mql5 as soon as the new version is available.


So, if you want to get an immediate solution you have to switch to MT5, what we recommend all our users in general.

Either way, you'll have a solution by the end of the week.

The issue has been resolved. Please update to version 4.20.

If you don't see an UPDATE button, you can delete the tool in your terminal's Navigator window and reinstall it from the market. In this way, you'll get the latest available version automatically.

Hello. 

I just rented this indicator. I've had the old version for years. I'm trying to get used to this new version.

I have a few issues. I will appreciate it if you address them please.

1) I put different levels than -50 and 50 (-40 and 10) but the levels revert back to default and also, I see 100 and -100 labels on top of the -50 and 50 labels.

2) There are 2 small boxes that stay on the chart and will not go away. One is list/equalizer, the other list/delta map.

3) Labels for the lines are not visible. Sometimes just one label is visible. No matter how high the window is, I can't see the labels.

1) The levels mark the minimum and maximum of the calculation scale. You can't change them. You can just add you own levels if you need them as visual help.

3) That's mostly an issue of missing market data. We suggest using our Data Downloader to force your terminal to download all relevant market data.
