A small but important update just went live for Prime Confluence Engine (MT4 & MT5), plus a rundown of what's inside the Markov Pro layer for anyone new to the indicator.
What's fixed in v1.21
"Enable Renko Filter" is now a true master switch. Previously, turning it OFF didn't fully disengage it — now, when disabled, it's removed from candle blocking, the bricks are hidden, the panel shows OFF, and it drops out of the alert confluence entirely.
Historical candle coloring is now time-accurate. Bars were being colored by comparing them to the current Renko trend, which could misrepresent what the trend actually looked like at that point in time. Now each bar is colored using the Renko state as it was at that bar's time.
"Renko blocks candle color" now defaults to true, so enabling the Renko filter has a visible effect right out of the box instead of looking like it's doing nothing.
Recap: what Markov Pro (added in v1.20) actually does
For those who haven't tried it yet — Markov Pro is the optional upgrade to the indicator's third confluence layer. Instead of a simple 3-state momentum check, it builds a 9-state model from two stochastic oscillators (mid + fast period), with each state defined by adaptive percentile zones rather than fixed thresholds.
The model trains forward-looking outcomes in ATR units, applies Laplace smoothing to the transition table, and recalibrates on a walk-forward basis every N bars — so it's not fitting once and going stale.
The part we think matters most: it includes an honest hold-out skill gate. A portion of the training window is held out, and the model's edge is measured out-of-sample. If it turns out the model has no real predictive edge in current conditions, the layer blocks signals instead of pretending to have an opinion. The panel reflects this directly — ACTIVE / WEAK / LOW DATA / STALE — so you always know whether Markov is actually contributing or just sitting out.
Classic (3-state) Markov is still available and selectable via input for anyone who prefers the simpler model or wants backward compatibility.
How the full system works
PCE only fires when all three layers agree:
Renko — adaptive brick regime filter (trend vs. flat)
Prime Trend — ATR-based SuperTrend for direction and dynamic levels
Markov + Time Exponent — signal quality/probability filtering
100% non-repainting, closed-bar alerts, and a live on-chart panel showing exactly why a signal is valid or being ignored.

Markov Prime Pro is an analysis tool for MetaTrader 5 that does more than draw arrows. For every signal it answers the question most indicators ignore: how much can you trust this entry right now? Each signal is rated with a single Confidence Score from 0 to 100, so you can tell a strong setup from a weak one at a glance. The tool combines six signal strategies

Trend Rapture is an advanced algorithmic indicator designed to identify high-probability trend entries and exits based on adaptive volatility analysis. It utilizes a sophisticated noise-filtering engine to isolate real market momentum from random price fluctuations, providing clear, actionable signals without the lag typical of standard indicators. Prime Confluence Engine — Oscillator is a separate-window indicator for MetaTrader 5 that visualizes a composite signal quality score based on three independent analytical layers working simultaneously. HOW IT WORKS The indicator calculates a Confluence Score ranging from -100 to +100. The score is derived from three layers: Layer 1 — Renko Filter: An internal Renko engine with an auto-calculated brick size (ATR-based) suppresses short-term market noise. The trend is
Markov Prime is a next-generation professional analytical indicator that combines classic technical analysis with probability theory (Markov Chains) and fractal geometry (Time Exponent). Unlike most standard indicators that have "memory" and lag significantly, Markov Prime analyzes the market differently: it calculates the probability of the current market state (trend or flat) continuing in real-time. The indicator is designed to filter out false entries during market noise and find the most
Prime Confluence Engine (PCE) is a professional-grade indicator utilizing a triple-layer signal filtering architecture. Instead of relying on a single algorithm, PCE combines market regime detection (Renko), dynamic levels (SuperTrend), and advanced mathematical analysis (Markov Chains and Fractal Dimension) to identify high-probability entry points. A trading signal is generated ONLY when all three independent layers align in the same direction. The indicator operates strictly on closed bars

UBS just released a note predicting a surge in FX volatility driven by escalating Middle East geopolitical risks. For manual traders, it's just a headline. But for us MQL developers and algorithmic traders, it’s a severe stress test for our systems.
During geopolitical shocks, the market is driven by sudden institutional liquidity grabs, not technical patterns. Standard lagging indicators (like basic MA crossovers or MACD) will get chopped to pieces by false breakouts and whipsaws.
So, how do we adapt our algorithms and manual trading routines to survive this?
1. Multi-Timeframe (MTF) Confluence is Mandatory
A sudden 50-pip spike on the M15 chart means nothing if the H4 and D1 institutional flow is heavily pointing the other way. If your system doesn't filter lower timeframe noise through a higher timeframe matrix, you will get trapped.
2. Dynamic Volatility Filtering
If you are coding or using trend systems, ensure you have an ADX or ATR filter active. High volatility doesn't always mean a trend; often, it's just erratic chop. Your system needs to know when to stay out of the market entirely.
3. Hard Risk Management & "Stealth" Stops
During news events, spreads widen aggressively. Broker slippage is real. Relying on mental stops is financial suicide. Systems need automated equity-based daily loss limits and, ideally, virtual (stealth) SL/TP levels to protect against spread spikes.
Trading isn't just about finding entries; it's about capital preservation during anomalies. Data always beats hype.
