Best ways to promote a new MT5 Market product without spamming?

Hi everyone,

I recently published my first MT5 Market products and I’m trying to understand what usually works best for new sellers.

I’m not trying to advertise here, so I won’t post the product link. I’m mainly looking for advice from people who already have experience selling on the Market.

What helped you most in the beginning?

• MQL5 blog posts?

• Forum activity?

• Free demo or free version?

• Better screenshots and product description?

• Paid promotion inside MQL5?

Any honest advice would be appreciated.

I didn’t know that paid promotion inside MQL5.com is not available, so that already clears up one question for me.

I will focus on improving the product descriptions and creating useful blog posts/manuals for the products.

Would you recommend writing blog posts more as tutorials/manuals, or more as short promotional posts with screenshots?

Do you sell something on the Market? Are you signal provider? So, just some links about promotion:

• About widgets - example with blogspot blog.
• Create a channel or group on this MQL5 portal and invite the users to subscribe.
  
• The article: MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 Trading Signals Widgets.
• The thread: Add MQL5 Market Product Widgets to Your Blog.
• Get a Market Widget.
• Signals Widget.
  
• Quotes section Widget (I want to install a widget) 
• make the posts in MQL5 blogs and in your profile
• Make posts/threads on the other forums (and social networks) which are allowing commercial content according to their rules.

I didn’t know about the Market Widgets yet, so I will definitely check them out. That sounds very useful.

I’ll also look into creating more MQL5 blog posts and using my profile page more actively.

I’ll use the Blog section mainly for tutorials and manuals, and keep shorter promotional posts for the profile page.
