How to Start with Metatrader 5
Sergey Golubev, 2017.01.09 06:38
Do you sell something on the Market? Are you signal provider? So, just some links about promotion:
- About widgets - example with blogspot blog.
- Create a channel or group on this MQL5 portal and invite the users to subscribe.
- The article: MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 Trading Signals Widgets.
- The thread: Add MQL5 Market Product Widgets to Your Blog.
- Get a Market Widget.
- Signals Widget.
- Quotes section Widget (I want to install a widget)
- Make posts/threads on the other forums which are allowing commercial content according to their rules.

I installed widget (Top Signals) for my google blog in easy way using this link for example so everybody can do it (widget for some particular signal or signals, or widget for some broker). I did not place it on some other websites because I am not a signal provider and I am not market vendor. But I think that google blogs' promotion as a widget (together with simple promotion using facebook, twitter and google+) are fully enough to get some subscribers/clients.
But if some signal provider (or Market vendor) wants to get many subscribers/clients so it may be necessary to go to more quick way - go to the other Metatrader forums to promote your signal or product in direct way - just my experience.
Market Product rating calculation now includes description quality - the official announcement (with the discussion; with participation of the admins of the Market for example; at least - they are reading it and so on).
Thank you for your quick reply, helped me alot!

Hey all,
I'm a pretty experienced MQL5 developer and have built some solid indicators and semi-automated systems that work really well. The problem is — I'm not that great at the sales and marketing side of things.
I’ve published a few products on the MQL5 Market, but they’re not getting much visibility. I’m trying to understand how the platform works in terms of rankings and exposure.
Is there some kind of algorithm that decides which products get shown at the top of search results?
What actually helps with visibility — reviews, comments, demo downloads, regular updates?
Are there smart ways to promote your tools outside the MQL5 site — like Telegram, YouTube, or blog traffic — and do those have any effect inside the MQL5 Market?
And how do people even get those first few sales or reviews without already being known?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s had success selling there. I’m great at coding, just not so much at selling. Any tips or lessons would be awesome.
Thanks!
