Pair trading and multicurrency arbitrage. The showdown. - page 307

It’s interesting that arbitrage is strictly prohibited in prop firms. It seems they know it’s a profitable strategy.

The spread between the British pound and the euro is currently $167, which corresponds to the 50–60 per cent range shown in the table.
Am I correct in understanding that we are waiting for equity to reach 90% ($270) by 27 September2022 – the 100% ($300) level from 2009 – and then we will sell the EUR/USD currency pair, and buy GBP/USD. In this case, the statistical advantage will be on our side.

Well, at least a 250 spread so we can make a profit of at least $100.

How are you getting on with the Sine strategy?

Great. A helpful tip at just the right time. I’ve been having trouble with entry points; I’ll bear that in mind now.

How are your trades on Sinus going?
Six triangles from the demo account are currently open. Five have been closed with a total profit of +1,900. One is in a drawdown of -2,800. I’m working through it, trying to look at it from a different angle: 1+1=1.

OK. People here are going bonkers over the pairs; they’ve asked not to be disturbed.

OK. People here are getting carried away with even numbers; they’ve asked not to be disturbed.
This is a thread about even numbers, not sines and cosines. I can see there’ s nothing left to do here either the discussion has veered off in a completely different direction from the topic of even numbers.

The even-numbered branch, not the sine and cosine ones. I can see there’s nothing left to do here either everything has gone in a different direction from the even-numbered one.
We need to bring the even function back to the top. The even function can also be solved using sine, and in fact, it’s actually quite a good solution.
