Installing Meta Trader 5 on Windows7 64bit error advapi32-dll
I am trying to run Meta Trader 5 on my 64bit Windows 7 Laptop and after installing I
I haven't tried it myself, but... that error message in capture.png says that MT5 is trying to use a function which only exists in Windows 8 onwards (or Server 2012 onwards). It's not going to work on Windows 7.
Windows 7 extended support period begins in January 2020 when Windows 7 support ended officially, and it ends in January 2023 for good.

- Upgrade from Windows 7/8 to Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Update Windows 10 to at least version 21H2 (build 19044, November 2021 update)
Trite, but I repeat: updating the operating system categorically increases its stability and reduces the number of errors in any software launched on it.
Unfortunately, we are starting to cut down on the capabilities of terminals under Windows 7. There is no reason to support it anymore.

Someone told me that you should install Windows 10.
I downloaded the portable version of the mt5 program, but after updating the program, the portable version also shows a dll error and does not run anymore!!
any ideas how I can fix this?

Seems like you didn't update your Windows 7, probably it is missing something. I would guess you miss the Windows 7 SP1 or other updates.
Anyway Windows 7 is not longer(officially) supported. So I don't have the crystal ball but check whether you have these:
