Why an economic crisis is inevitable. - page 16

QuantumBob:
I agree, this is important, but even more important is the fundamental idea of the global unprofitability of the economy.

What's that? Sort of like entropy - only higher? Yes... you toil, you toil, you eat it and there's no trace of your labours. Then art will save the father of Russian democracy, for it is eternal.

QuantumBob:
Very good question, have already started to include drug trafficking and prostitution in GDP. Now they are discussing how to include their own housing, like if they rented it and wives as if they were providing sex services to their husbands. It makes me laugh...
Yeah, there was that joke about the tourist. In the end everyone in the town owes each other, only the watchman's dog doesn't have clap, but the GDP has risen by 300%.

Dmitry Fedoseev:

Look at my posts above. The point is that in a closed system the capitalist economy is fundamentally unprofitable. Constant expansion and growth is required. And the Earth is already dipped in and out.

Yes the west is rotting away while we are prospering here. I even feel sorry for them sometimes

the shit is that in a closed system, economics (as it is now understood) is not possible at all.

exponential growth, that's what it is, is infinitely impossible...

PS/ that is, either consider the system unclosed or the theory-all-consumption-is-failure

Maxim Kuznetsov:
Yeah, there was that joke about the tourist. In the end everyone in the town owes each other money, only the guard's dog doesn't have clap, but the GDP has risen by 300%.
This is not an anecdote, but the actual practice of some European countries).

Vladimir Baskakov:
The West is rotting away while we are prospering here. It's a shame about them sometimes.
Now we are in that system too. But we are lucky because our goods are really needed. When everything starts they will not buy iPhones but fuel and electricity. We are number one in grain exports too, so we will not starve. The army is equipped with the best weapons, so nothing will be taken away from us. We have very strategic-minded people at the top.

That's bullshit.

Look at my messages... Who are you? Maybe you should get a monument, too.

Why, socialism and pre-capitalist formations are fine in a closed system. The question is where we will fly out. I would like to go into socialism, but I am afraid we will either be in feudalism or in a slave system. The second is more likely, as digital concentration camps are already being tested in China.

Mr. Panikovsky, is that you? I didn't recognise you in your make-up...
