I have a principle - if I have a deposit - increase it. And if it does not withstand the drawdown, it means you need to think about expo.... Well, not to feed it....

 

First time made an averaging martin with a trend indicator, previously used oscillators. The results are encouraging. Particularly pleased with the resistance to plummeting. But maximum drawdown is still large and profitability is not high. This is the first pancake. I will dig in this direction further and make "improvements". I have been optimizing since 2009.

If someone had told me that with a trending index the martin works more steadily on longer time periods, it would have saved me a lot of time I spent experimenting with oscillators.

I suggest you experiment with different ones and conclude in favour of the best one yourself. I haven't done that yet.
