The non-stationarity of the time series is unlikely to allow anything in this direction. I sometimes look at such -minute, with various smoothing filters (very large periods)

This tale shows how much the market has narrowed: On Friday, the big guys were price-checking like a broomstick. It's December, people: open both ways, take a strike at 150 pips and sleep well. For the tale is called "long and short fish".

Friday's drop was caused by an attempt by a group of congressmen to block the allocation of funds by the US to the IMF special fund for the Eurozone bailout so we have to think that on Monday during the Asian session the pair will continue its fall towards the 33 figure and there are some fears that the Greeks will not get the money and will default but that will be known after December 9.
