1. The watt in the power supply is of course a good thing, but it also depends on the manufacturer. As for Ipon, I sympathize, not for any money will not contact them (as the vendors have the nerve to call their UPS, they probably do not feed their computers themselves).
When it comes to power supplies, I personally prefer this manufacturer (and their other products are VERY Tasty).
If it comes to coolers, here is my pick - Zalman
2. resource constraints were implicit in the purchase of the laptop as the main option (without a desktop)
I wouldn't take an Acer (I once bought an Acer underboot - it didn't last six months and before that people advised me not to mess with Acer). Is there anything from ASUS on i3? I don't know anything about Samsung.

For gamers only. For work it's not a problem, i3 and 3gb RAM, 320gb hdd is plenty.
Termaltake is a great company. And my cooler is TT Spin Q. Honestly speaking due to i7 overclocking from 2.8 to 3.6 and abnormal heat it wasn't doing so well in summer. Up to 90 degrees at 1500 rpm(max).
What can you say about it (not a bad trio in my opinion, although I don't like Intel very much)? Especially about ThinkPad W701ds...
Although I can't figure out why the touchscreen, but still - cool)))
Anything over 50k is awesome, especially with i7 Extreme Edition))
Though i can't think why i need touch screen, but still - cool)))
Well there were mentions of quad-core and 17". Why wouldn't they be?
Of course for mere mortals you can pick up something around 25-30k ruble...
You can't go wrong with a Toshiba.
my old one is over 5-6 years old
it works like clockwork helps me to test sites in IE6 and keep an eye on the server
I need a printer to print books

17 + 22 monitors
Core Duo 2.2 Toshiba Notebook
+ dedicated server 2 gigahertz 1.5 giga
