I found out experimentally that a file over 16 mb is not allowed. it's a pity they didn't write about it in the requirements for screenshots(
Pity the customers. 16 Mb even with a normal connection is not loaded instantly.
The product page looks empty until the picture is loaded (this is already a question for the webmaster).

1 that's probably why it's 16 and not 160
2 the question about the size came up as an additional
3 I think all pages load approximately the same way
I think all the pages load about the same.
This is with a good connection and normal internet speed is not noticeable. But there are countries where the Internet is quite expensive, and its speed is not good enough.

10 products X 10 pictures X 10 Mb = almost a hectare. Server resources are also not rubber, pictures are also in other places order, yes on the same forum.
So the limitation on the weight of the picture is not significant. But if the description would give the opportunity to load PDF, it would not be bad. Sometimes in the description even all settings can not be crammed into the description, because of the limitation on characters. And so it would be possible to load them into a file.
"it can be too complicated to dig into it"
