I have a technical question regarding MetaTrader 5.

A proprietary trading firm informed me that my Device CID matched another user’s Device CID.

Could you please clarify:

1. What is Device CID?
2. How is it generated?
3. Is it guaranteed to be globally unique?
4. Can two unrelated users ever have the same Device CID?
5. Does a matching Device CID necessarily mean the same physical device was used?

I am only seeking technical clarification about MetaTrader.

I am using MT5 with a linked multi-chart layout, but the timelines and candle end-dates across my 2-min, 5-min, 15-min, and Daily charts are completely out of sync—could you please advise how to fix this data alignment issue at mt5.

Please note that I am not talking about my local device time versus the server time. My issue is that within the MT5 platform itself , my multiple chart windows are not aligned with each other chronologically, even though they are all running on the built-in server time. For example, the timestamps/candles across my open charts are out of sync with one other. Could you please advise how to fix this multi-chart alignment issue inside MT5?"

The charts, the price on the charts, the symbols to trade, and the names of the symbols, and the time of the price on the chart - all of them are related to the brokers only. 
So, ask your broker for support in case you are having the issue them.

Also, please note that the forex market is closed during the weekend (means: the price on the chart is not moved).
