missing MQL4 folder

I access MT4 through Capital City but I am not able to upload any custom indicators because my directory for this program does not contain MQL4, Expert, or Indicators folders. I am new to this so I hope I have described the problem using the right language. I need to know why these folders are not found in the directory and how I can get them in order to upload/insert custom indicators. Thanks.
 

It is for MT5 (but it is same for MT4 for example):

The main platform directory contains several folders: Bases, Config, Logs, MQL5, Profiles, Templates, Tester. For quick access to the desired storage location, use command "Open data folder Open data folder" in the File menu.

  1. Why did you post your MT4 question in the Root / MT5 General section instead of the MQL4 section, (bottom of the Root page?)

I installed MT4, but it comes up with MQL5 folder setup. I have an .ex4 file that I want to install in the Experts advisors, but I can access it because of the MQL5 setup in the MT4

You have probably installed MT5.
Do not try to download MT4 from Metaquotes as it downloads MT5.

Download MT4 from a broker.

It has been years since you could download MT4 from Metaquotes. You can only get it from a broker's website.
