19 dead, 20 injured in knife attack outside Tokyo

NHK say its 'at least 15':
  • A knife-wielding man has reportedly gone on a rampage at a facility for handicapped people in the city of Sagamihara, west of Tokyo.
  • Police say 15 people are confirmed dead and 45 injured.
Initial reports came out a while ago, but more on this terrible event crossing now.
More:
  • Attack occurred around 2:30 a.m. local time
  • Suspect has been identified as a man in his 20s who has previously been an employee at the facility

Priest killed by gunmen in French church attack

Two gunmen have staged an attack on a church in Rouen 26 July 2016

The madness and sadness continues.

  • a priest has been killed in an attack by two armed men at his church near Rouen in northern France
  • the armed men entered the church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray during mass, taking the priest, two nuns and several churchgoers hostage
  • French TV said shots had been heard after police arrived at the scene. Both hostage-takers are now said to be dead.
