I would need the original source code, but even from a quick look at what it does, it does it the same way as sidus indicator. Which means that even if it would be made noon repainting, it would give completely different signals that in this repainting version (and judging from the sidus that when made non repainting gives results that are not so usable, probably the result of the "nice indicator" would be "not so usable" too)
