I can't see on my chart these indicatores: #_FullSSA

Hi John !

I can't see on my chart these indicatores: #_FullSSA, TDI Caterpilar.

I want to ask you, and all readers from this thread, what could be the reason, what should I do ?

I want to test also these indicatores. I attached a screenshot with my chart.

However you are trying to install the repainting versions of the SSA. Basically all the work here was to make the transition between repainting indicator SSA to a non repainting SSA.

If you want the original version (repainting) of SSA_normalize it is here.

indicator's information

As there were some bad news for the brain trend SSA end - pointed, there are some good news for the adaptive ASCTrend.

In fact there is a difference again when you run the signals in real mode bar by bar and when you apply afterwards. The good news are that the signals bar per bar were better in my tests.

So you really need to do bar per bar simulations before applying any change in the settings.

Frasma & RS_Frasma

Hi guys,

My two pennies worth of contribution for the week.

I modded both Frasma and RS_Frasma to accomodate SSA-EP.

Red one is the Frasma version(FRASMASSAEP), magenta is the RS-Frasma (RS_FRASMA2SSA)

As you will notice, both are really heavy on the system, and if any of you see a way of making them lighter, then please go ahead.

Of course you need SSA-EP installed, with the lib files.

Enjoy!

ASCTrend SSAep

Here I add the TSD Digital ASCtrend SSAep mod.

Please consider that:

1. There may be differences between what you get from the tester and what you would get when applied on past data. That is due to the defects of the ASCTrend indicator.

See the shot it looks like the settings should be adjusted based on the real performance in the tester and not based on what you see when you apply it on the past data.

2. The indicator may repaint two dots.

Anyway here it is.

I like it !

Interesting indi

Here's an excellent indi by Teresh over in this forum -

Keep in mind you also need #4X 2011 XARD SSA.mq4 to make it work - also found in same forum.

indicators and indicators

I think those indicators are repainting.

Maybe someone can see what is the idea and replace the ssa by ssa end pointed.

I think XARD SSA is just the old SSAnormalize but reborn with a new name. If it is, it will repaint.

whichever one i use original flavour or end point, when calling the values in an EA either in the EA itself by iCustom or even via csv ssa just does wild things.

its so annoying.

is anyone else using ssa in an EA and found a way to beat the madness of it?

what i mean by this is that what it shows you and does on the chart are not the values the EA picks up. Even the EP version "repaints" to an extent - stick it on a chart and call the values into csv or an ea then you will see what i mean.

its wild.

anyway best thread on the web bar none.

SSA issues

Well,

There are problems with the SSA end-pointed when you try to use for EA. But it is beyond the problem of repainting. It is something different. And unfortunately it is beyond my technical competence to fix that, even some very competent guys tried and did not make it work until now.

However I am not sure if it is practical to use the SSA ep into an expert because you could not do extensive testings (very heavy) but you can adapt very well to the local conditions.
