Which brokers are considered good / reliable brokers?

Hi Newdigital,

I noticed that this EA can be profitable in long-run, but from your statements:

Some conclusion from the past account (which was disabled):

- 3,000 initial deposit is too small one for this kind of scalping EA;

- selecting good broker is 50% of the success.

So, I would like to know:

1. Is it enough with 5000 initial deposit ? If so, what is the starting lot size? 0.01 or what lot size ?

2. What leverage is suitable for this EA?

3. Why do you say "good broker is 50% of the success" here? Please explain. Also, which brokers do you think are good, reliable to use this EA?

How about FXCM UK, Interbankfx Australia, MB Trading, Thinkforex, etc ?

Hope to receive your detailed information.

Thanks a lot

James

Yes.

1. Is it enough with 5000 initial deposit ? If so, what is the starting lot size? 0.01 or what lot size ?

May be ... but with 0.01 only.

In my case - I had 10,000 in May this year (30th of May) and for now - it is about 17,000. So, it is about 7,000 dollars as a profit for 5 months trading. With 0.01 as a starting and trading EURGBP only.

So, I think - you can start with it too:

2. What leverage is suitable for this EA?

I am using Alpari rus/NZ so ... as I remember - they are having 1:100.

And for the other trading in ECN way - FXCM and as I remember - it may be 1:100 too.

What is max leverage in your IBFX Australia?

I think - it is non-ECN/non-stp broker?

So, start with it as demo and see.

3. Why do you say "good broker is 50% of the success" here?

Spread, leverage, spikes of the price, "disabled account because of scalping" , "disabled account" with no reason (I had this case personally), "freezing" the price before forex news, where to complain to, and so on.

How about FXCM UK, Interbankfx Australia, MB Trading, Thinkforex, etc ?

I never used Interbankfx Australia, MB Trading and Thinkforex. Try Interbankfx Australia. Because Alpari NZ ... Interbankfx Australia ... may be some similarities (joking)
