Dear RDB,
Could you explain why today 3 trades were closed at SL around 60 pips instead of 28 or 32 pips?
Anybody has the same loses?
Regards.Mine had only two trades and they managed to TP but my demo version has like 5 trades moved to TP. none losing today. But I was wondering why my live account had only 2 trades today. Maybe it's due to the spreads I guess. My broker is IBFX and I know the spread went to 7 pips after hitting those TPs
Everybody talks about the spread. Even if I have 5 pips spread, I am in the profit.

We could make nothing to it.
That's it.It is the risk.

I m in a real account on Liteforex with a spread max at 5, not a demo...
I was in profit everyday, but not this night....And you what about this night?

Saya menggunakan broker dengan spread yang tetap iaitu 3 pips untuk pair EURGBP (saya akan beritahu saudara broker apa yang saya guna dalam email).
Saya mula menggunakan EA saudara minggu lepas dalam live account tetapi tiada satu order dibuat.
Adakah Your Lucky ada expired date dan memerlukan donation untuk mendapatkan yang bukan protected version?

Backtesting with 5 Pips spread
How can you set the number of spread pips for a backtest? Do you use Alpari quotes? By default they are quotes of 3 pips of spread?
Hi,
you have to run your backtesting after the broker widened the spread to 50 pips, which means after 22:00 with Alpari UK
Try it as follow: set Max_Spread to 30 and run backtesting. If you get any trades you are testing with spread 30 or less.
If you don't get any trades set Max_Spread to 51 and repeat testing. Now you should get trades.
(remember: all numbers given are for 5 digit Alpari account)
