"old tick"and"datacenter connecting failed"

Hi,newdigital,when I do the EA test,it always remind "old tick"and"datacenter connecting failed" from the Journal.

What is problem and how to solve it? will it effect the test result?

old tick means that no data for this time.

- If you are forward testing so it means that you Metatrader is not connected to the broker's server.

- If you are backtesting so it means: no data for backtesting.

During the forward testing:

sometimes I am doing the following - right mouse click on the chart, then 'Refresh' and you can see:

Sometimes we can have very good internet connection and everything but very bad connection between Metatrader and the broker's server.

Mainly at GMT night.

Last week it was for IBFX for example.

Few months ago during the many months - for Alpari rus.

please could a coder take a look and see if this can be converted to run on mt4

I am not sure as I am not a coder ... but I think it was converted already and many versions of EAs were created. And some of them profitable.

But I see all EA's are based on the MT4 DMI, not Wilder's DMI.
