Algorithm to detect support and resistance

Hello guys. I wanted to develop an indicator to spot support and resistance levels without using the fractals.

There is anybody here that can give me help to find any formula or pre-build indicator that works in a similar way ?

I started from this article but I do not really grasp some concepts, so I considered to start by myself but I think it might take a bit of time to reinvent the wheel.

This indicator is extremely accurate because the code and the logic behind is good but I do not know to extrapolate the code to re-use in another indicator or EA

I was wondering if somebody has a similar indicator or at least know where I can find information about the code.

I think - it is Maksigen indicator which was uploaded to this thread https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/181296 with trading examples. You can select 4 high/low candles or any number of candles.

I don´t understand the logic behind the filtering of the arrows. I thought for every break of a sup/res line where should be an arrow or at least for every break in a new direction. Can you please give some explanation. (found it in post 786/787 on page 79)
