Original method vs Scalping method
have attached two images to look at since this should clear up a lot of confusion what these two different methods look like. The first "Original Method" is defined as taking two like color bars on the lowest TF's and the "Scalping Method" takes into account the trend already in place and takes counter trend trades.
I want to thank $Trader for his continuous support and contributions. We used to speak on another forum about trading and back then without even having a method or forum I knew he was good people. Now I come to know him better as we have bumped into each other on these forums.
He is very serious and passionate about trading and keeping accurate scores. He only trades live when he has thoroughly test and feels confident about his back tests.
I ask that $Trader please post some of his charts that show us what he is looking at when he enters his lower TF trades. I would be interested to see if he is trading the original method or the scalping method. I what like to make the judgment call be looking at his charts.

I know this might sound dumb, but how do I move the Signal Bar from 'Top Right' to 'Top Left' of the chat?
I read through the threads and couldn't find a way to do it. Yet on charts posted here, it was display on the Top Left.
Appreciate if anybody can help me out here. Thanks.
Tried 'editing' the 'inputs' of this indicator, but doesn't seems to work too.Within indicator its defaults to top right = true. Change to false.

Any news on whether someone has automated your HAS system? I follow the threads carefully and the alerts do help in the middle of the morning but automating it would be the a hell of an accomplishment!

AlI have emailed "Bluto" to see how it's coming. No doubt this will not be a quickie EA. I believe we are attempting to have both strategies built into one EA.

Does HA Smoothed indicator repaint? so there is a change on wick part and body part? OR on wick part only? I am gonna put this on 4TF

Hello all!
I'm pleased to report that version one of the HAS e-book will be ready soon. I've been travelling a lot and this has really slowed down progress. Tomorrow is also my birthday and I have to go to Detroit overnight (dang it!!).
Steinitz - I use the snipping tool in Windows Vista to do my images, but Snagit will work really well. If you want to create a document then turn it into a *.PDF you can do a Google search for *.PDF converters that install as a printer driver for Windows (and are supported by advertising) OR you could use Open Office (I think it's www.openoffice.org) and it converts Word compatable docs right into *.PDFs for you. Open Office is Free.

Thanks for reporting in. I agree with your recommendations. My son told me about "paperport 11" and it's specifications. I believe that if I end up writing my own e-book one day that would be the logical choice for me.
But for now I am going await your version since you write much better then me and we all appreciate your efforts to help with the needed task to compile a nifty book on this ever growing thread and method(s).

The saga continues
Still haven't figured out why the demo is placing trades that aren't logical.
Here is my issues:
1. A position is opened. It's a buy 1 lot of GBP/JPY @ 238.98
2. I then place a pending order: "sell limit" 1 lot GBP/JPY @ 239.23 I come back to see that the price was hit but it opens a sell order and doesn't close out the original one.
1. BUY ORDER 5843697 2007.05.01 02:48 buy 1.00 gbpjpy 238.980.00 0.00 2007.05.01 08:59 239.33 0.00 0.00 0.00 292.86

EA announcement
I have been on MSN messenger chatting with Lee for her to China in the evenings up to midnight. There is a 13 hour difference. The EA is completed and I am having some issues on my end when back testing. In the live trading mode it looks to be actually following specific rules correctly.
I need more time to not only see the backtesting work but forward testing as well. Some small issues with freezing platform and trades that don't make sense to me.
I will be on this until I am satisfied it runs perfectly before any releases. I was hoping more of you would post some of your trades on here to show others how we are doing.
I have created a new trading account with 10,000.00 demo and booked 4 trades with 25 pips each (100 pips) in my first attempt this month. Two are floating right now.

Major Anouncement !!!!!!!!!
The EA is completed! The results are in. The first maiden voyage test showed me something that was always in the back of my mind and was proven by the backtest. I resolved that issue and the code will be fixed rather quickly.
I will get into this more when I return but for now what I can tell you is the method looks very promising. In fact with this sample their was no losers. The last one was due to stopping the EA physically.
Take a look at the statement and graph. I will answer questions later when I return. I am excited to say the least. My manual method of no losses is being echoed with the EA. Look how the first trade toook 10 days to close. This is the key to my methods 100% success rate.
Don't worry I will test all 10 currencies and with longer look back data. I don't know about you guys but I am going to have a wonderful vacation especially getting these results as expected......
