Terminator v2.0 - page 6

?

ok tmaneaval ive done that then what? do i just attach the EA to the chart? im a bit confused about how to work presets.

tmaneval:
Here are the settings files I'm using on the H4 chart. Basically it's the default settings except for a change in pips= setting which keeps profitability up. These settings can also be used on the H1 chart by changing the pips= setting back to 0.1. Also there is a minor change on gbpusd settings file. tom

thanks tom for the preset files. i will run accordingly and test for my self.

Hi Tom

First I wanted to say many thanks for all your efforts. It is nice to know

that there are people around who really care and want to help others.

I think from the first moment I got involved with forex I wanted to have

a system like this. Please allow me to ask what may be a stupid question but

instead of utilizing a Martingale progression why not use a Fibonacci progression

which would be much safer and most likely eliminate the possibility of blowing

one's account.

Just a thought.

Jim

It depends on what one is designing, a bridge, or a tunnel. This EA is designed from the article included in the zip file and coded by Alejandro Galindo. I used it and added some of my own modifications.

The reason this method was used is because according to that article that method is already used by dealers.

To ask why not use another method, although perhaps a very good question, may be a topic for another EA design.

Will be interesting to see what happens...I would call it Stress Test and/or Brute-Force Test. A very good chance!

Tom, is it the first time you can see this situation since you are testing this script??

Hi Tom,

I have been forward testing Terminator on demo the last few days and

it has been doing fine. I was wondering if there is any problem in closing

positions manually just so margin requirements don't get out of hand. I mean

will Terminator adjust accordingly and start over at .1

Thanks,

Jim
