Why does the ma cross indicator with a higher TF setting operate on an offline chart when other mtf indicators don't (and shouldn't) work?

Depends on the symbol name and the way how time is written in the offline chart

That is a simple adx that colors the ADX value depending n the crosses of +DI and -DI values. You can use any multi time frame ADX with the same results
