Russian Alpari broker (just to compare):
GBPUSD: pips this week 60;
USDCHF: pips this week -84.
StepMAExpert_v1.45 did +1613 pips since September 2006.
Performance of this EA may be different with different broker. I am testing this EA with Fibo Group broker and I started to test with Alpari broker as well.

Open trades.
I just looked at Metatrader where step 1.42 version is testing: +606 pips was closed this week by this EA. It is good result.

The stepma 1.45 expert does not open in backtesting.Error is unable to open .Any guidance?.
With the stepma 1.45 which indicators are meant to in the indicators file?

El CidThis EA is using indicator (StepMA_v7EA). EA with the settings (and with indicator) is on post #8 of files thread. Or it is here according to the links from files thread.
Please note that all step EAs (all the versions) are very sensitive with broker's data. It means that we may have different performance of EA with the same settings for different brokers. So it is the better to test some EA with my settings, compare my results with your results for example to correct the settings. Because I am testing this EA with Fibo Group broker and with Alpari broker. The data feed for those 2 brokers are similar so I am using the same settings. But if somebody will use this EA for IBFX for example so the settings should be corrected with IBFX data.

The stepma 1.45 loaded O K and backtested O K.
I used the presets and stop loss of 50 on cable and 0.1 lots on backtesting.On forward testing it opened 0.2 lots .......anybody explain why the difference in lots

El CidYou will see in pre-set file (or in the settings):
MM (money management) = true.
So, switch it off, or just play with Risk settings to start with desirable lot size: backtest with the same deposit as you are planning to forward test playing with Risk settings just to select starting lot size.
+195 pips was closed today in the morning for GBPJPY (1.42 version). The order was opened on Friday.
Updated statements for 1.1_mod and 1.45 versions.
All the statements will be posted the day after tomorrow but just few comments.
