Trying to understand the code

I am new to MQL so please forgive the question if it is stupid. I am trying to understand the code for the Scalp_net and it seems easy to understand until I get to the I-XO thing.

What does this indicator do? Could someone please explain the indicator to me? Thanks.

I-XO indicator is the filter.

But it is in 1.5 version only.

In 1.2 and in 1.3 version - it is standard MACD as I remember.

Ifyou want to trae those systes manually so it was some templates with indicators posted on this thread.

Hi everyone

Scalp_Net v1.5 doing well with Alpari UK broker as well, it netted $100 last night

However, I'm confused with its performance though. In Lite Forex 5M chart (4 digit broker), the trailing stop setting is never triggered even though it has been set. Trailing stop works fine with Alpari UK 5M chart (5 digit broker).

Also, in Lite Forex, it open EURUSD and EURJPY trade but in Alpari it only opens EURUSDtrade ... I'm wondering whether version 1.5 only works with 5 digit brokers but as I understand the thread, it is supposed to work for both 4/5 digit brokers right?

It is Scalp_net_v1.5 for 5 digit.

This EA is using the indicator so I converted the indicator for 5 digit as well. Do not forget to use this new 5 digit indicator (everything is inside zip file attached).

Scalp net 1.5 Risk Management

How I have to set up the risk management if for example I would like to risk 10% of my FreeAccount Marging having a leverage 1:100 ?

MaximumRisk = 0.1 ?

Sorry I am not using it.

It is my settings:

As I see inside the code:

if(MaximumRisk>0)lot=NormalizeDouble(Lots*AccountFreeMargin()*MaximumRisk/1000.0,1);

I think this part of the code was programmed by Igorad.

I am not using something which I do not understand sorry.

Try to backtest with your deposit size changing the MaximumRisk looking for lot size changed.

scalp_net_v1.5 - tf 5 min - testing phase

Scalp_net_v1.5 is running 24h a day on a 5 digit broker. One indicator I_XO_A_H is only needed. Currencies are:

EUR/JPY 5 min, USD/CHF 5 min, EUR/USD 5 min, GBP/CHF 5 min, AUD/USD 5 min and GBP/JPY 5 min over a VPS.

one week later at 200-08-19:

GBP/JPY and GBP/CHF is been turned off for minimize losses at 2009.08.19.
