I have been trying to do backtesting to see how the results compare to your forward testing and they are WAY off. I know backtesting is unreliable, I understand that, but I would find it hard to believe its off by soo much.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, can someone please double check this and maybe backtest and see if I have the same results?
I am trying the Firebird v65 version, April 1st - April 7th.
Your forward results: 189 pips
My Backtest results: -93 pips (90% accuracy)
Again, I know backtesting isn't very good, but still, this seems like there's something else wrong. Anyone know what I may be doing wrong? I'm loading the Firebird v65 with the m30 settings file and of course running at 30min timeframe.

Jeff.Firebird v65 version was coded on open bar and on high/low of the bar (just mixed it). But you backtested on closed bar (every tick modeling ...). That is why it is different.

OK, I'm looking at the performance on the weekly winners and I'm watching Firebird v0.65 racking up the high score quite often.
If I wanted to run Firebird v0.65 myself I have two quick questions:
1) does it have any indicator dependencies that need to be in ~\experts\indicators for it to run?
2) what timeframe is it being run on in the weekly winner listing?

have set my ea,i have question about the timefilter,does it need based on my local pc time? currently i have set in my pc time,other question,if 00 what should i put on the config? 00 or 24? and what about if the weekly winner post their preset,so we could have learning from the best preset and how about the timeline?i got from the preset from the post,what timeline isthat? H1?or M1?which the best for firebird 0.65tf fixed?

So totally we have the following(since 1st of January 2006):
Firebird v0.65.
EURUSD: pips this week 1496; pips in total -505.
GBPUSD: pips this week 907; pips in total 14337.
USDJPY: pips this week 50; pips in total 16317.
USDCHF: pips this week 12166; pips in total 21036.
Firebird v0.65, timefilter.
EURUSD: pips this week 786; pips in total 8978.
GBPUSD: pips this week 1004; pips in total 8059.
USDJPY: pips this week 29; pips in total 10970.

I did not change the settings for more than 1 year. I used Alpari rus broker and now I am using North Finance broker.

Timefilter is broker server time (your chart time).
Can you please send a statement of the last days ?
I started to run it on my demo.
I see only few trades ever day (I tun it on the 4 pairs)
Is it the eay it should work ? I would like to compare reults if possible.
