'Close all'/'Open' tools - page 48

I am using this ea "ClosingOrdersProfitSymbol.ex4" from post #465.

I would appreciate if there is a way to add:

"Buys" - true/false,

"Sells" - true/false.

Since I am hedging, I want to close only one type of the positions, say all Buys and keep all Sells open.

Keep up the good work!

Guyver,

Thanxxxx,

Guyver,

please look at these pics. It seems to me the EA (GyClosingOrdersProfitByType.ex4) is not closing. Allow live trading is checked off and I assume the "profit" is in $$.

The GBPUSD buys total $2.70 and $4.00 respectively and the EA did not close the positions.

Thanxxxx for looking at it.

It is an ea so "Allow Live Trading" needs to be checked.. The last time i checked it worked without problems though,

Yep just checked again.. it worked fine...

Guyver,

Thank you for attending the issue. I have 2 questions:

Profit setting:

a) is in dollars or pips (this makes a difference if the account is micro)

b) is per position if averaged out or total of all positions (buy or sell)

Thanxxxx 4 reply.

See below for response

it computes the total value in pips of the open positions of a type depending on the number you have entered e.g 2.0 as profit . I dont have a micro account[yet]

b) is per position if averaged out or total of all positions (buy or sell)

total of all sells or buys .. if you enter 2.0 then as soon as sells profit reaches 2.0 it will close all sells - doesn't matter if there is a position in minus since the total is still positive for that type

Thank you, I think I am getting some life.

Guyver:
No problem , there you go

SymbolwithExit profit is not working.

I tested.

CloseAll_byTotalProfit is working perfectly.
